Barrel Or Drum Patents (Class 441/46)
  • Patent number: 11553698
Abstract: A system of fattening for molluscs having supporting frames with first coupling members for the uprights that make up components and, carriers of the breeding compartments, and second coupling members on the flotation tubes of a moveable platform. The members and the uprights have aligned openings and that are actuated by removable coupling devices allowing the uprights to be attached or uncoupled. A crossbar, with an arrangement of connectors, keeps the components and provides an easily handled module that can be separated from the supporting frame along with the breeding compartments.

  • Patent number: 5799916
Abstract: A bracket for being mounted to a flotation device such as a drum is manufactured as a single piece which includes spaced apart parallel sidewalls having a curved bottom edge for mating with the curvature of the periphery of a floating drum and has end walls spanning between the sidewalls at opposite ends of the sidewalls and a top wall opposite of the lower curved edges of the sidewalls in which top wall there is a central opening on opposite sides of which there are flat load bearing surfaces. A clamping device having the properties of a turnbuckle connects between the ends of strap which wraps around the drum and hooks to opposite ends of the turnbuckle so that turning of the body of the turnbuckle holds the ends of the strap together to effect frictional gripping of the bracket to the drum.

  • Patent number: 4988317
Abstract: A pontoon float has a flexible collapsible structure which may be extended by interlinking pontoon float platforms to form an elongated platform as for a dock or pier. Each pontoon float platform is supported by a rectilinear array of removable, stackable hollow floats, removably fastened to permanently affixed lid sections, forming an air tight seal. The individual floats are secured to the platform only by removable upper ends, and are otherwise free. The floats may be readily removed and stacked, reducing each pontoon platform to a planar section and a stacked, compact array of float members. The pontoon sections are reinforced by a grid of stringers, providing adequate rigidity without undue stiffness. Preferably, each pontoon sections is provided with interlocking extension plates on an end and a side and a mating pattern of interlocking holes on a second end and side so that they can be adjoined to form complex large floating structures as required.
