Abstract: A connectable toy capable of permitting a user to enjoy play full of unexpectedness and novelty. The connectable toy includes a toy body and attachments constructed so as to be detachably connectable to the toy body. The connectable toy further includes a circuit consisting of a circuit portion arranged in the toy body and a circuit portion arranged in each of the attachments. Connection and disconnection of the circuit is carried out through coupling sections of the toy body and the attachments.

Abstract: A mechanism for dolls which allows for crying, movement of the lips and swivelling of the eyeballs. The mechanism includes a control circuit and timing element which is connected to a switch placed in the mouth of the doll, a magnetic field detector placed in the proximity of the mouth, a voice apparatus, and a motor attached to a mechanism for moving the lips and eyes. The latter mechanism consists of an eccentrically mounted shaft which is attached to one end of a spring having its other end connected to a piece that ends in the shape of an arrow-head connected to the doll face in the proximity of the mouth of the doll. A pacifier inserted in the mouth of the doll, opens the switch to maintain inactive all the devices. If the pacifier is removed the voice device is activated. A bottle having a magnetic element can be inserted into the mouth, and operates the magnetic field detector to start the motor and operate the lips and the eyes.

Abstract: The doll set utilizes a ferromagnetic backing panel such as a thin sheet of steel, a representation of a human figure such as a little girl, and a series of clothing and other accessories which are applied over the representation of the human figure. The human figure can either be applied by printing to paper lying over the front of the ferromagnetic backing panel or it can be cut from a planar sheet of magnetic material, to be magnetically adhered to the steel sheet. The clothing and accessories are cut out of semi-flexible, ceramic magnetic material, and may be covered with printed paper, or textured cloth, to be temporarily magnetically bonded to the figure of the doll over the steel sheet, so that the child playing with the set can interchange outfits for the doll at will, and have a convenient place to keep the outfits that are not currently in use.

Abstract: A magnetic toy is disclosed which uses two magnetic structures and a magnetic platform plate to allow the toy user to create a wide variety of designs from magnetic particles. The two magnetic structures are arranged so that the same magnetic polarity for each structure is adjacent to the platform plate. This feature allows the magnetic particles to be formed in either bridging designs or divergent, stand-alone designs.

Magnets (24) mounted under the fabric within the figure's limbs are joinable with opposing magnets (28) mounted under the fabric within the figure's head to pose the figure.

Abstract: Disclosed is a stationery case for keeping writing materials, which comprises an ornament mounted on a compression spring which is fastened in the interior of the casing. The ornament has a magnet fastened therein and is pressed and released so that clips which are received inside a curved recess in the casing can be taken out of the casing and placed on a recessed surface portion on a cover at the top of the casing for ready use. A plurality of compartments are made inside the casing in the portion opposite to the curved recess for keeping a variety of writing materials. A whistle is fastened inside the casing and is controlled to make a sharp, clear sound during a downward stroke of the ornament.

Abstract: A doll support apparatus including a ferromagnetic base having an upwardly facing support surface for receiving the bottom surface of a doll foot device incorporating a magnetic insert which, when supported on such surface, is disposed in close proximity to the ferromagnetic base to thereby maintain the doll in an erect position. The foot device may be in the form of a foot having a magnetic insert embedded directly there into or may be in the form of a removable shoe having the magnetic insert embedded therein. The foot or shoe may incorporate a hinge element which incorporates a releasable lock for locking the shoe or foot in selected different positions.

Abstract: Several permanent magnets are on a playing surface, with all the magnetic field vectors perpendicular to the surface and oriented in common (pointing in the same direction) relative to the surface. A player positions a magnetic manipulator below the surface, and below a selected magnet on the surface, and controls the manipulator so that the selected magnet forms a predetermined array with at least one other magnet on the surface. The field of the manipulator interacts with those of the magnets on the surface to apply exclusively magnetic force or torque to the selected magnet or the other magnet on the surface, or both. The field vector of the manipulator may be oriented either (a) generally in common with those of magnets on the surface--to levitate the "other" magnet above the selected magnet by an interactive magnetic-wedge effect--or (b) generally parallel to that of the selected magnet, but in opposition, to repel the selected magnet above the other magnet.

Abstract: A system for stabilizing, powering and controlling walking animatronic figures or vehicles by magnetically attracting and/or repelling the feet of such structures, using various cooperative combinations of interacting ferromagnetic plates and electromagnets to guide and stabilize the structures along a platform, as well as facilitating transformer coupling of AC power and/or command signals from the platform to the walking figure without the need for an umbilical.

A lifting member in the shape of a mother animal which lifts the vehicles one by one from the lower end to the upper end of the track-way. Means to reciprocate the lifting member between upper and lower ends of the track-way. Magnetic means to engage the vehicles to lift them, these means being retracted through the mouth of the mother animal when the vehicle is aligned with the upper end of the track-way, so ejecting the vehicle and releasing it onto the upper end so that it can run down the track-way.
