And Variable Size Air Chamber Patents (Class 446/18)
  • Patent number: 10369489
Abstract: A bubble maker simplifies the creation and distribution of bubbles. The bubble maker includes a mixing basin, a water-inlet tube, an air-inlet tube, a bubble outlet, and a water overflow outlet. The bubble maker does not require an external electric power source to drive the agitation for a mixture of the water and soap as Venturi effect is implemented via water pressure from an external water supply through the water-inlet tube into the air-inlet tube to aerate the water and soap mixture and produce bubbles. The bubble maintains a maximum water level within the mixing basin with a water overflow outlet that allows for sufficient headspace for bubbles to accumulate within the mixing basin. As the bubbles accumulate within the mixing basin, the bubbles flow out of the bubble maker through the bubble outlet.

  • Patent number: 9050543
Abstract: A bubble-producing device includes a container for receiving a quantity of a bubble-forming liquid to a desired liquid level in the container; a bubble-forming loop moveable within the container to a lower position below the desired liquid level so as to be submerged in the liquid when received within the container, or to an upper position emerged from the liquid; and a controlled gas supply system for controlling the introduction of a gas (e.g. air) into the container effective: (a) first to move the bubble-forming loop from its lower position submerged in the bubble-forming liquid, to its upper position emerged from the bubble-forming liquid; and then (b) to discharge gas through the bubble-forming loop and thereby to produce a bubble therein. Embodiments are described wherein the bubbles are produced at a distance to serve as targets for a water gun, and wherein bubbles of different colors are produced.

  • Patent number: 7086612
Abstract: The present invention provides an assembly, sock, and method for generating foam. The assembly includes a housing having a chamber, and a first and second orifice. A fan arranged within the housing draws a flow of air into the chamber through the first orifice and exhausts the flow of air through the second orifice to form an exhausted flow of air. A nozzle is arranged within the chamber and is situated in proximity to the second orifice to allow introduction of a fluid into the exhausted flow of air through the second orifice. A permeable sock includes an inner surface and an outer surface. The sock is arranged to occlude the second orifice in a manner to receive the exhausted flow of air with the fluid at the inner surface.

  • Patent number: 6558220
Abstract: A bubble making apparatus. The apparatus is a manually workable device having a pair of open limbs joined at a junction. A V-shaped wand, with a pair of limbs that are joined at a normally open angle alpha in a spring like, or alternately a pivotable fashion. Upon manual compression, the limbs are urged apart to a pre-selected angle. A flexible, absorbent cord is affixed at locations on each of the limbs. The flexible cord is brought together to form a bubble-making loop. A portion of the flexible cord is located to enable the user to vary the size of the bubble-making loop. The flexible and collapsible nature of the loop permits use of a long narrow container for bubble solution, which requires less bubble-making solution than a rigid wand of comparable effective diameter. This collapsible feature also facilitates the creation of and the “closing-off” of large bubbles.

  • Patent number: 6241571
Abstract: A bubble blowing assembly used to blow bubbles made of soap film. The bubble blowing assembly includes a housing. In the housing is formed an air flow chamber having a first end and a second end. A one-way valve is disposed at the first end of the air flow chamber. The one-way valve connects to a balloon or another inflatable air vessel. An arm is pivotally connected to the housing and is selectively positionable between a first position and a second position. The arm defines an aperture. When the arm is in the first position, the aperture on the arm is positioned in said reservoir. When the arm is positioned in the second position, the aperture on the arm is positioned next to the second end of the air flow chamber. An activation mechanism is provided within the housing. The activation mechanism engages both the one-way valve and the arm. When the activation mechanism is in an operating position, the activation mechanism moves both the one-way valve to its open condition and the arm to its second position.

  • Patent number: 6065968
Abstract: A toy that may be used to make three-dimensional designs from elastic members comprises a base and at least one, and preferably two, vertical sidewalls rotatable relative to the base. The base and the at least one sidewall each have a face surface with a plurality of retaining means disposed thereon. A plurality of elastic members may be secured to the plurality of retaining means and thereby suspended between the base and the at least one sidewall to form a three-dimensional design, for example, each member may be attached at a first point along the member to a retaining means on the at least one sidewall and at a second point along the member to a retaining means on the base. The at least one sidewall or the base can be rotated to vary the length of the elastic members, thereby changing the three-dimensional design formed thereby.

  • Patent number: 5269715
Abstract: A bubble bath bubble toy. This toy with a rotatable hub for altering bubble size is designed to produce bubbles in clear, soapy or bubble bath water. For years children have been fascinated by the production of bubbles. This apparatus allows children to safely and easily produce bubbles on their own. With this apparatus, the user turns a crank which activates several gears turning a bubble wheel with aeration vanes. The motivation of these aeration vanes produces a mixing of air, water and bubble mixture sufficient to produce bubbles. This toy allows for the production of bubbles from previously utilized water containing some amounts of bubble fluid. This helps to limit the cost of bubble production.
