Abstract: A tubular expandable elastic container for holding and dispensing a frozen confection as it thaws. The frozen confection holds the container in an expanded configuration, and as it thaws the contraction of the container forces thawed frozen confection from an open end of the container. A whistle is also provided at the open end of the container and a valve in the whistle structure for preventing air from entering the container when a user blows air into the whistle.
Abstract: A whistle having two chambers of different size so that each is capable of generating a sound different to that generated by the other. Each chamber is elongate and has an open mouth located at the same end of the whistle body. A mouthpiece extends angularly from that end of the body and has two open-ended passages extending therethrough, each of which has an open inner end located adjacent a respective one of the chamber mouths. The two passages are located in close side by side relationship and are arranged so that a stream of air emerging from their respective inner ends passes across a respective one of the two chamber mouths so that the two chambers generate sound simultaneously. The two chambers generate relatively high and low frequency sound respectively.
Abstract: A whistle is integrally formed from the pages of a children's book. Apertures are formed in adjacent, interior pages, and the apertures are positioned to overlap to form a resonant cavity. A slot is provided in one of the interior pages to provide an air inlet passage through which air may be blown into the resonant cavity. The cover of the book has an opening which forms an air outlet passage, through which air from the resonant cavity is exhausted. In operation, the pages of the book are pressed tightly together to seal the resonant cavity and prevent air leakage therefrom. To facilitate such sealing, the book includes printed matter indicating the general location in which the child should place his fingers when pressing the pages together.
