  • Patent number: 5158212
Abstract: Disclosed herein is an amusement device for squirting liquid. The amusement device includes a helmet having a squirt assembly connected thereto. The squirt assembly may be connected to a pump and a storage container for liquid via an umbilical cord as found in Sirhan, U.S. Pat. No. 4,903,864. The squirt assembly has a conduit extension connected to the umbilical cord. The squirt assembly further includes an aiming assembly supporting the conduit extension. The aiming assembly includes an azimuth and an elevation adjust for adjusting the conduit extension. A voice activated circuit activates and de-activates the pump upon receipt of an valid voice command. Upon receipt of a valid voice command, the pump is activated, liquid is pumped from the container to helmet through the umbilical cord and exits through the conduit extension, thereby enabling the hands free operation of the amusement device.

  • Patent number: 5131881
Abstract: A toy is provided for lifting goods onto a stand-by portion and discharging them from the stand-by portion in response to the passing of an object. A goods lifting portion is pivotably supported by a vertical support member at a pivot point. A receiving portion is located at one end radially extending from the pivot point. An extension member is located at a second end radially extending from the pivot point for upwardly pivoting the receiving portion to empty the goods from the receiving portion onto the stand-by portion when the support member reaches a predetermined vertical distance. A contact member provides a force upon the passing of an object. A separating and discharging member rotatingly receives goods of a predetermined quantity from the stand-by portion and discharges the goods when the contact member provides the force. A retaining member disables the separating and discharging member when both positionally moved to a predetermined position and the absence of a magnetic force is detected.

  • Patent number: 4750641
Abstract: A toy pistol capable of ejecting a continuous stream of water while simultaneously generating a sound and a flashing light. A d-c motor positioned within the toy pistol operates a pump to pump water from a water storage cartridge in order to cause water to be ejected continuously from the toy pistol. The d.c. motor also causes an eccentric cam to rotate, such rotation causing repeated stricking of a sound generating bar, which creates a sound imitating a gun. Operation of the motor additionally causes repeated opening and closing of an electrical circuit containing a light bulb positioned in the barrel of the gun, thereby creating a flashing light effect.
