Abstract: A fidget coaster is a finished wood and clear acrylic disk. The fidget coaster has a sprocket grip on the outside which allows the user to spin gears on the inside beneath the clear acrylic. The inside is made up of a planetary gear and three smaller gears that rotate around another gear at the center. The activity of holding it and spinning it, or lightly turning it with a drink perched on it, is relaxing. It aids conversation and provides focus for people who need to occupy themselves with fidgeting to allow them to concentrate.

Abstract: The present invention refers to piñatas and other container devices that store a volume of candies, gifts and/or prizes that are dispensed when the container device is opened. More particularly, the present invention provides a piñata of reduced volume to facilitate the transport thereof which is characterized in that comprises: an inflatable cavity; a receptacle of objects joined to said inflatable cavity, said receptacle of objects that has an aperture; sealing means of said inflatable cavity; and means for opening and closing said aperture of said receptacle of objects. Additionally, the piñata which is subject of the present invention has the advantage of being esthetically appealing to a user.

Abstract: The invention is generally a burstable balloon entertainment device comprised of a burstable balloon filled with articles or party items such as toys, confetti, candy, and the like. The burstable balloon may be inflated using one or more hand-held pumps in fluid communication with an interior of the balloon, which are generally configured to pump air into the balloon so that the balloon eventually explodes once the inflation has reached a certain threshold. In exemplary embodiments, the burstable balloon will explode or burst once the balloon has sufficiently expanded so as to touch a balloon bursting device, which may include an extended rod having a protruding pointy or sharp tip.

Abstract: A reusable, programmable, interactive, and talking pinata for being hit by a stick by a size-insensitive user to dispense bounty and for depicting interchangeable and disposable characters. The pinata includes a character, a first compartment, operating electronics, and a second compartment. The character has a body and depicts the interchangeable and disposable characters, and as such, is interchangeable and disposable. The body has a top part and a bottom part. The bottom part is pivotally attached to the top part so as to pivot relative thereto. The operating electronics has preselected criteria. The second compartment has a bottom lid, and holds the bounty. The bottom lid is affixed to the bottom part so as to pivot therewith. When the pinata is activated by being hit by the stick, the bottom part pivots away from the top part, and in doing so, opens the second compartment and dispenses the bounty.

Abstract: A portable piñata structure includes a weighted base and a vertical pole extending vertically from the weighted base. A horizontal pole is connected near the top of the vertical pole by a connector so that the horizontal pole can rotate about the axis of the vertical pole and can also pivoted up and down. A piñata is suspended directly from one end of the horizontal pole and the other end of the horizontal pole has a handle that may be grasped by an operator, The structure gives a wide range of fast movement to the piñata to make the game more interesting and also improves the safety of the operator.

Abstract: A reusable piñata includes a release mechanism to cause the piñata to open when struck on a particular location or locations. The piñata may include two hinged housing members that are resiliently held together by the release mechanism. When the struck in a certain location, the release mechanisms may release a catch, causing the hinged housing members to spring open. The piñata may include a shock activated voice mechanism to add sound or voice to the piñata when struck. Typically, the release mechanism may include an arm or leg member of the piñata, for example.

An internal expandable brace is activated by pulling external cords that draw brace into the expanded position, causing piñata body to flex into a three-dimensional body with fillable chamber. Score lines optionally direct flexing into a faceted shape. Lock mechanism holds brace in the erect configuration, with adjustable degree of expansion. Piñata body is resilient and compresses brace, to engage lock automatically and maintain expanded configuration.

Abstract: A gift wrapping package is provided which furnishes enhanced ornamentation and ease of wrapping of gifts for special events. The gift wrapping package includes a housing which is retractable and expandable for forming a central cavity. In a retracted condition, gifts can be placed within the central cavity. Thereafter, the housing can be closed by expanding and rotating the housing's body portion 360 degrees until an enclosed structure is formed. In preferred embodiments, the gift wrapping package includes various ornaments and features including fanciful appendages. In addition, the gift wrapping package may include a hook or handle or other construction for enabling persons to carry a wrapped gift or to hang the gift wrapped package upon objects, such as a holiday tree.

Abstract: Collapsible piñata devices and methods to manufacture collapsible piñata devices are provided. According to some embodiments of the present invention, a piñata can comprise an exterior shell and one or more internal support frame members. The internal frame members can support the exterior shell when the exterior shell is fully expanded in an uncollapsed position to form a piñata. The internal frame members can also support the exterior shell during transition from expanded to collapsed position and from collapsed to expanded position. The piñata can also be collapsed into a state for storage, travel, and to preserve the exterior appearance of the piñata. Other embodiments are also claimed and described.

Abstract: A reusable piñata system having a hollow body with an open bottom end. Slots are disposed in the hollow body. An end cap is provided to obstruct the open bottom end of hollow body. A support element is coupled to the end cap. The support element extends into the hollow body through the open bottom end. The support element is selectively positionable between a closed position, where the support element holds the end cap element in obstruction of the open bottom end, and an open position where the support element holds the end cap element away from the open bottom end. Removable pull pins are inserted through the slots in the hollow body. The pull pins extend into the hollow body where some of the pull pins engage the support element. The pull pins that do engage the support element hold the support element in the closed position.

Abstract: Collapsible piñata devices and methods to manufacture collapsible piñata devices are provided. According to some embodiments of the present invention, a piñata can comprise an exterior layer, a plurality of internal support frame members, and a support for carrying at least a portion of the exterior layer. The internal frame members can support the exterior layer when the exterior layer is fully expanded in an uncollapsed position to form a piñata. The piñata can also be collapsed into a state for storage, travel, and to preserve the exterior appearance of the piñata. Other embodiments are also claimed and described.

Abstract: A gift wrapping package is provided which provides enhanced ornamentation and ease of wrapping of gifts for special events. Abstract: A shrouded chamber piñata is disclosed having an inner chamber and a surrounding outer chamber or shroud. The inner chamber has an opening on one side, and one or a plurality of handles fixably attached to the chamber and extending outwardly from the opening of that chamber. A pull line, fixably attached at one point to a first ribbon, and fixably attached at a second point to a ring, passes through at least one face of the chamber, so that when the pull line is pulled with sufficient force the chamber will rupture. A support member is attached to the inner chamber to provide attachment points for the first ribbon and additional ribbons. A shroud having openings on opposite sides is positioned atop the containing chamber to shroud the containing chamber. One of the shroud openings is positioned on the same side as the inner chamber opening.

Abstract: An apparatus for use at parties resembles a cardboard box that is open at the top and is supported in mid air. The box stores candy or toys therein and includes a latch that is released subsequent to pulling on a trigger cord. The latch includes a pin in a side member that engages a hole attached to a flap of a bottom member. The trigger cord pulls the flap away from the pin which then releases the bottom member which is able to pivot and release the candy or toys which then fall to the ground. VELCRO is used to ensure that the flap is maintained in a closed position until the trigger cord is pulled. A plurality of false cords resemble the trigger cord and they all dangle through openings that are provided in the bottom member.

Abstract: A hollow breakable object having a first shell section and a second shell section encapsulating a novelty item when the shell sections are affixed to each other. The sections are typically affixed by press-fitting, gluing, or taping the sections together. When the sections are affixed, they form a hollow shell, typically in an egg shape, having an enclosed internal chamber. The hollow shell may also have a scoring providing a convenient predefined break point on the object. Affixed to or incorporated as part of the interior of each section is an internal support structure to provide padding support to the novelty item. A coating is applied to the exterior of the affixed sections to form a breakable and dye absorptive surface of the object. The coating is made of either gypsum, limestone, silicate or a combination thereof and is advantageously capable of absorbing conventional egg dye. Additionally, the object is biodegradable.

The container comprises a containing chamber having an opening on one side, and a plurality of handles fixably attached to the containing chamber and extending outwardly from the opening of that chamber; a pull line, fixably attached to the chamber, the pull line passing through at least one face of the chamber, so that when the pull line is pulled with sufficient force the chamber will rupture; and a shroud chamber having an opening on one side, and a plurality of slots on a side opposite the opening of the shroud chamber, that chamber being positioned atop the containing chamber to shroud the opening of the containing chamber with the side opposite the opening of the shroud chamber. The handles of the containing chamber are inserted into the slots of the shroud chamber so as to interlock the chambers.

Abstract: An innovative method of making pinatas utilizes pre-cut and scored cardstock designed with tab and slot closures. Once the shapes are folded and secured, the pinatas can be decorated using traditional or innovative methods. By designing the tab/slot closure of the body on the bottom of the pinata, the enclosed treats may be released in a non-destructive manner.

Abstract: A disk for throwing or rolling is formed of a central disk shaped core attached to a top and bottom pad assembly. The core includes a slot extending inward from its periphery for the insertion of an accelerator strap. The core includes a plurality of cavities, into which may be inserted plugs of various materials. The disk will possess different characteristics depending upon the composition of the plugs, and where they are placed. Wooden plugs may be used to cause the disk to float, metal plugs may be used to increase the weight of the disk, or porous plugs may be impregnated with scent to train dogs to retrieve. The placement and number of each type of plug affects the performance of the disk.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a reusable telescopic pinata that includes a collapsible container assembly with two or more coaxially disposed tubular members. These tubular members are releasably kept together by several locking tabs. A base assembly is hingedly mounted to the lowermost tubular member. A latching mechanism holds the base assembly against the bottom rim of the lowermost tubular member. With a plurality of strings attached to the hingedly mounted base assembly, the participants release the candy and toys stored inside the container assembly. The tubular members can be substituted thereby resulting in different design combinations, and also the number of tubular members can be varied. The tubular members in one of the embodiments are composed of two substantially symmetrical sections that are removably latched to each other for storage volumetric efficiency.

Abstract: A collapsible pinata having a pair of planar main panels joined by connecting side panels. The side panels are configured to fold inward between the main panels to allow the pinata to be collapsed substantially flat. In an expanded state, the side panels extend generally perpendicularly between the spaced main panels. Reinforcing flaps are provided to brace the pinata in the expanded state. The reinforcing flaps are hingedly attached to one of the main panels and are pulled outward with strings to lie against the inner surface of the side panels. The collapsible pinata is constructed of a single piece of cardboard.

The novelty item(s) held within the compartment are made from a material, such as plastic, metal, etc., which is non-expandable when the package is placed in water.

Abstract: A confetti tossing apparatus. Lengths of folded paper are fixedly attached between end panels and a body of confetti is disposed within the lengths of folded paper. The apparatus opens to a first position to display a first part of a celebratory greeting, for example the word "HAPPY". The apparatus is jerked while holding the end panels causing the apparatus to open to a second position. A second part of the celebratory greeting for example the word "BIRTHDAY" is displayed in conjunction with the first part of greeting, and the opening of the apparatus to its second position causes confetti to be tossed outwardly from the apparatus.

Abstract: A removable elastomeric blade hub and switch housing plate adapter for a ceiling fan to facilitate replacement of the blade hub are disclosed. The fan comprises a motor, a motor shaft, a wire-way tube carried by the motor shaft and a wire termination receptacle connected to the ends of the motor leads carried within the wire-way tube. The elastomeric blade hub has a boss with a bore through the center thereof sized to receive the wire receptacle and the shaft. The hub boss has a set screw on the side thereof to removably secure the blade hub to the shaft. A switch housing adapter plate is removably connected to the wire-way tube beneath the blade hub such that if replacement of the elastomeric hub is required, the switch housing adapter plate and hub may readily be removed from the wire way and from this motor shaft without removing the securement hardware, cutting the leads, or removing the receptacle from the leads.

Abstract: Toy pinata consisting of a balloon envelope into which toys, confetti, candy and other like items are embodied. The balloon envelope, when inflated and permenantly sealed to prevent the escape of the inflating gas, is subsequently pierced or punctured, which causes the balloon envelope to explode, which in turn showers the area in proximity of the exploding balloon with the contents embodied within the toy.

The container is suspended from a stand assembly that includes a base, an upwardly extending pole member and an arm member that is substantially perpendicular to the pole member. A timer is mounted to the pole member.

Abstract: A reusable pinata has a body with a frangible bottom closure surface which is replaceable, and a top closure surface which is outlined to define punch-out or cut-out areas for permitting access to the interior of the pinata body when desired. The pinata may have a hood overlying the top closure surface and the body, the hood being preferably bell-shaped and formed from at least one expansible paper unit.

Abstract: A game involving the insertion of simulated articles of dirty clothing into a washing machine receptacle, the sides of which are biased to explode open. The number and type of articles to be inserted during a turn is determined by a spinner. Insertion of the articles through an opening in the top wall of an otherwise substantially enclosed receptacle, eventually effects downward movement of the bottom to which the sidewalls are pivotably mounted. Once the bottom and sidewalls move down enough to disengage the upper edges of the sidewalls, the sides of the washing machine receptacle spring outwardly, spewing out the laundry.
