Abstract: A manicure hand-rest which has an upper surface (1) that is contoured in relief with a rear apron (4) for support of either hand and with seven mutually-splayed recesses (6) extending on a forward region (5) from the apron (4) to a contoured peripheral edge (7) of the hand-rest for receiving the fingers and thumb of the respective hand. Of the seven recesses (6), three (63-65) are used by the fore, middle and third fingers of both hands in reverse orders from one another, whereas the thumb and small finger of each hand use respective pairs (61, 66; 62, 67) of the recesses. The ends of the recesses (6) may be bevelled over into the edge (7) to facilitate bending down of the fingertips.

Abstract: A device (10) is used to maintain climate conditions within an interior space (12) of a vehicle such as an ambulance (14). The device (10) includes a blower (18) to generate an air flow and a mounting plate (20) cooperating with a cover (29) to direct the air flow across an opening (16) into the interior space to form a wall of air to prevent loss of the climate conditioned air within the interior space. The vehicle could also be a food service truck, a people transport bus and a boat.

Abstract: A filter window adapter unit adapted for use with a main split-sash window of school buses is provided. The adapter unit includes a mounting frame adapted to be installed over the main split-sash window of the school buses. An inner sash is disposed fixedly in a lower position in an inner track portion and carries a pane of glass. An outer sash is disposed movably in an outer track portion and carries an air filter. The outer sash is raised upwardly so as to cover a main window opening when the main split-sash is opened. As a result, the air filter prevents diesel fumes from the school buses from entering into the interior thereof.
