  • Patent number: 10032038
Abstract: This application relates to a key rolling process for a file system of a computing device. The key rolling process allows for files to be transparently re-encrypted in a background process while still allowing applications to access files being re-encrypted. During re-encryption, a portion of the file is decrypted using a current key for the file and re-encrypted using a new key for the file. During re-encryption, the portion of the file can be relocated to another location in memory. Metadata associated with the file can be updated to include information pertaining to the location of the re-encrypted portion. The metadata can also be updated include information pertaining to how much of the file has been re-encrypted with the new key and how much of the file remains encrypted with the current key.

Abstract: A mobile communication terminal obtains analysis result from analysis of various information included in a received e-mail. The mobile communication terminal determines whether the received e-mail satisfies a notification condition based on the analysis result, and analyzes the importance degree of the received e-mail. If the received e-mail is an important e-mail satisfying the notification condition, the mobile communication terminal notifies the user that the e-mail is received irrespective of whether its cover is opened or closed. If the received e-mail is a non-important e-mail not satisfying the notification condition, the mobile communication terminal limits notifying the user that the e-mail is received until the cover is opened, i.e., the content of the e-mail is checkable by the user. This makes it possible to restrict notifying the reception of the e-mail depending on the e-mail's importance degree, while preventing the user from missing any e-mail of high importance.

  • Patent number: 7809342
Abstract: A customer relationship management (CRM) method using IBOC-radio signals is provided. A message in the radio signal is parsed to obtain a key. The key is compared to a plurality of stored keys. When the received key matches a stored key, a data structure associated with the message is outputted. A device comprising a lookup table with a plurality of stored keys, a tuner unit that receives a CRM in an IBOC signal, and a controller in electrical communication with the lookup table and tuner is provided. The controller comprises (i) instructions for comparing a key in the CRM to one or more stored keys in the plurality of stored keys and (ii) instructions for permitting the display of a display text associated with the received key when there is a match between the received key and a key in the plurality of stored keys.

  • Patent number: 7702316
Abstract: When a communication regulation determining block determines that E-mail communication is regulated when an E-mail processing block prepares for communication or initiates communication, information indicative of alternative communicating section using another communication path in which communication is not regulated is displayed on a user interface section. Therefore, it is possible to easily check which communicating section is effective when communication regulation occurs, and hence the user can easily make a determination such as that alternative communicating section is used, or that communication is aborted.
