Of course, that example is non-limiting. More broadly, in at least one embodiment, the present invention provides for triggering a BSR in the relay node right after learning that there is at least one UE connected to the relay node that wants to transmit UL data. The circuit comprises a first single-stage circulator configured to be coupled to a transmission-reception path of the first wireless communications device; a two-stage circulator coupled to the first single-stage circulator and configured to be coupled a transmission-reception path of the second wireless communications device; a two-way splitter coupled to the two-stage circulator and configured to be coupled a transmission-reception path of the donor antenna; and a second single-stage circulator coupled between the two-way splitter and the first single stage circulator. The wireless transmissions of the first wireless communications device travel from the first signal stage circulator to the two-stage circulator to the two-way splitter to the donor antenna. The first wireless device can be a repeater.

  • Patent number: 8350665
Abstract: RFID tags are commanded to generate a pilot tone in their backscatter. When the backscattered pilot tone is received in the reader, the pilot tone is used to estimate the tag period/frequency. Then, the estimate is used to seed and lock a symbol timing recovery loop, which provides a detected signal to one or more correlators for detecting the tag preamble. A delayed version of the received tag signal is compared against a baseline signal threshold established from the received signal to detect the pilot tone.

  • Patent number: 8335468
Abstract: A technique for interference cancellation in a satellite communication system involves an autocorrelation on the hub signal to detect a periodicity in the hub signal, determining a search range for a delay in the hub echo signal in accordance with the periodicity, locating the delay in the hub echo signal, and performing the interference cancellation in accordance with the delay. In the case of periodicity, a delay is acquired (either true or false) that provides cancellation (provided that the period does not change). When the period changes, cancellation is discovered to be poor, and another delay (that may be true or false) is acquired that provides good cancellation and so on.

Abstract: While ECUs are connected with a distribution apparatus via a communication line, each of the ECUs sends status notification representing own status to the distribution apparatus. The distribution apparatus creates status information representing status of the ECUs in accordance with status notifications received from the ECUs connected with the distribution apparatus. This status information is sent to other distribution apparatuses together with data for synchronizing a database. The other ECUs perform similar operations to those of the ECUs, while the other distribution apparatuses perform similar operations to those of the distribution apparatus. Therefore, each of the distribution apparatuses can recognize the status of all the ECUs.
