  • Patent number: 11273841
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for detecting a spoofing attempt associated with an autonomous vehicle are provided. The method includes acquiring, via interface circuitry of the apparatus for spoofing prevention, one or more sensor data from one or more sensors. The one or more sensor data is annotated to obtain sensor information. The sensor information extracts traffic information that the one or more sensor data carries. Abnormal sensor data that fails to capture surrounding traffic information is discarded. Furthermore, a spoofing attempt is determined based on a determination that at least one inconsistent sensor data is identified. The at least one inconsistent sensor data provides different traffic information compared to other sensor data of the one or more sensor data generated by the one or more sensors. The vehicle is therefore informed to ignore a portion of the sensor information associated with the spoofing attempt when the spoofing attempt is identified.

  • Patent number: 11218120
Abstract: A programmable transimpedance amplifier (TIA) includes a plurality of signal paths between an output of a common emitter amplifier and the output of the TIA. The TIA is programmed by selecting one of the signal paths, because the paths have different parameters (e.g. different bandwidth). Thus, the bandwidth or other parameter can be programmed by selecting the appropriate path. The common emitter amplifier's output is coupled to the inputs of common base amplifiers in each path. The inputs have low impedance. Also, each path has a separate buffer amplifying the common base amplifier output in the path. Therefore, having multiple paths does not significantly degrade the amplifier performance. High bandwidth can be provided.

Abstract: A method for protection against a relay attack on a system is composed of at least a first and a second communication device. Data are transmitted wirelessly between the first and the second communication device. The first communication device ascertains a first spectrum of all wirelessly transmitted signals to be received at the location of the first communication device within a frequency band. The second communication device likewise ascertains a second spectrum of all wirelessly transmitted signals to be received at the location of the second communication device within the frequency band. The frequency band is limited by a minimum and a maximum frequency. The second communication device transmits the second spectrum to the first communication device. The first communication device compares the first spectrum with the second spectrum in order to ascertain whether the second communication device is located at the location of the first communication device.

  • Patent number: 10796103
Abstract: A first user equipment (UE)—during a real time text (RTT) communication session with a second UE—may be configured to transmit RTT content in “word mode” by buffering text characters in local memory as they are typed by a user, and holding off on transmitting the buffered text characters until the user types a word delimiter or a timer expires, whichever occurs first. In an example process, the first UE may detect character user input requesting to type a text character, and, in response, the first UE starts a timer and buffers the text character in local memory. The timer can be restarted for additional text characters that are typed before expiration of the timer, and those additional text characters are also buffered. The buffered text characters are transmitted upon detecting delimiter user input requesting to type a word delimiter or the expiration of the timer, whichever occurs first.

  • Patent number: 9900865
Abstract: Sub-channel selective access by a station (STA) in a wireless LAN (WLAN) system may involve receiving a frame including a channel list information field and a sounding indicator field, the latter indicating whether the frame is for sounding scheduling or for access point activity scheduling. If the sounding indicator field has a first value, the channel list information field indicates one or more sub-channels where there is a sounding transmission activity for the sub-channel selective access. If the sounding indicator field has a second value, the channel list information field indicates at least one sub-channel where a data transmission is permitted for the sub-channel selective access.
