A transmission unit transmits vehicle-side information to the vehicular server at a set transmission timing, and, when the above transmission is determined to be impossible by the transmission determination unit, transmits a transmission impossible message to the vehicular server.

The conditional changeover command may include a neighbor cell configuration of a neighbor cell set comprising one or more cells that neighbor the serving cell. The neighbor cell configuration may indicate resource configurations of downlink (DL) resources the neighbor cell set. Abstract: A distributed network performance management system and method that distributes a large portion of the network performance management to wireless client devices connected to the network. Rather than rely on a central server to perform the bulk of network performance management, a distributed network performance management system offloads much of the work of service quality testing, reporting, and troubleshooting to wireless client devices that are connected to the network. It utilizes spare computing power and storage space on the wireless client devices to reduce the cloud operation costs of the system including such things as bandwidth requirements, data storage requirements, and data processing requirements.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described to enable the load-balanced use of globalized network addresses, addressable throughout a network to access a network-accessible service. A set of global access points are provided, which advertise availability of the globalized network addresses. Globalized network addresses can be divided among different pools, and each service can be associated with addresses of more than one pool. To increase resiliency, access points can advertise different pools of addresses to different neighboring devices, creating different pathways to reach the access point. If an error occurs on a neighboring network, a client can try to access the service via an address of a different pool, which can be expected to be routed through a different neighboring network, thus enabling the client to reach the access point.

Using the electronic device, a user can play back the segment from the non-broadcast source, starting playback at the last position of the broadcast segment when the user stopped listening to the broadcast. Abstract: A satellite receiver in a vehicle continues to receive satellite communications even when line-of-sight to the satellite becomes obscured by obtaining a stream of the satellite broadcast via an ad hoc network. When the satellite receiver determines that the satellite broadcast signal is being lost (or is about to be lost), the satellite receiver transmits a request message on an alternate wireless channel seeking an alternate source for the satellite media program. Another satellite receiver that is able to receive the broadcast replies to the request message, and an ad hoc communication session is established with the alternate source via an alternate wireless channel. The receiver is therefore able to receive the media program from the alternate source via the ad hoc session instead of the satellite broadcast signal.

Abstract: A platform in a wireless public land mobile network environment associates a mobile device's unique identifier with a provider of services to the mobile device as well as with the device's anchor network. When the mobile device wirelessly accesses services from a local wireless network while roaming outside of its anchor network's wireless coverage via an APN of the local network, the platform receives electronic data session transaction information records from the local network and replaces the mobile device's unique identifier with a pseudo/replacement unique device identifier that is associated in the platform with the local network and returns the transaction record to the local network instead of to the anchor network.

Abstract: A method, program product and system are provided for optimizing recording requests to minimize electricity usage for a network of DVRs. The disclosed methodology analyzes upcoming recording requests against a schedule guide including both local and networked DVRs. Overlaps in requested recordings and broadcasts during same or close proximity time slots are identified. Requested recordings are then rescheduled to optimally overlap recording times based upon the number of tuners in each DVR system. Changes in recording schedules are then communicated to other interconnected DVRs in a network.
