Abstract: Various embodiments provide media based on a detected language being spoken. In one embodiment, the system electronically detects which language of a plurality of languages is being spoken by a user, such during a conversation or while giving a voice command to the television. Based on which language of a plurality of languages is being spoken by the user, the system electronically presents media to the user that is in the detected language. For example, the media may be television channels and/or programs that are in the detected language and/or a program guide, such as a pop-up menu, including such media that are in the detected language.

Abstract: Systems and methods define an enhanced charging function (CHF) in a communication network by creating a type of slice analysis functionality. For example, the system can access slice information from multiple Policy Control Functions (PCFs) and determine analytics for multiple slices associated with a subscriber user/device or group of subscriber users/devices. Using the enhanced CHF, the system can trigger slice level decisions at a higher level of the hierarchy based on information being aggregated for family devices/plans, category, quota, usage, or other groupings at the CHF instead of just at the individual slice level (e.g., similar to standard PCF functionality).

Abstract: A method and a system include receiving an alert enrollment request based on a user selection from a mobile device of a user, the mobile device corresponding to a communication endpoint identifier; generating a user interface element that corresponds to a confirmation of an option to initiating a communication channel; in response to receiving an indication of the confirmation, initiating the communication channel via the mobile device; and transmitting an invitation of a survey communication through the communication channel, the survey communication including an identity verification request associated with a selected phrase to be repeated by the user.

Abstract: A charger for an electronic nicotine delivery systems (“ENDS”) device, which may include aerosol delivery devices provides functionality for authentication, including age verification. Such devices may be restricted based on age or other factors that require some form of authentication, verification, and/or identification to satisfy the restriction. The accessory or charger may provide or connect with a verification system for confirming an age of a user. If the authentication or verification is not satisfied, the charger or accessory will not charge the device, rendering it unusable.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for message routing optimization. The message routing optimization system receives requests to transmit messages to recipient devices. The message routing optimization system determines whether to allocate the messages to an optimal routing provider or a secondary routing provider. The message routing optimization ranks the set of routing providers based on a conversion rate index and determines the optimal routing and secondary routing providers based on the ranking. The message routing optimization system allocates messages to the selected routing providers to be delivered to their intended recipients.

Abstract: A method, computer-readable medium, and apparatus for transmitting a unicast message comprising a message content of a wireless emergency alert message to an endpoint device that did not receive the wireless emergency alert message are disclosed. For example, a processing system of a cellular network including at least one processor may receive a request to broadcast a wireless emergency alert message, where the request comprises an alert area and a message content, broadcast the wireless emergency alert message in the alert area, where the wireless emergency alert message includes the message content, obtain a notification that a first endpoint device did not receive the wireless emergency alert message, and transmit a unicast message comprising the message content to the first endpoint device.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments relate to systems and methods for securely associating an application installation with an account of a service. The computer implemented method may include an inviting device with authenticated access to an account provided by a service having data stored therein. An invite code may be generated in response to a request to enable another device to have access to the service account without identifying the other device. The inviting device may provide the invite code to an invited device. The disclosed embodiments enable an inviting device to provide secure and convenient authenticated account access to multiple devices.

Abstract: Systems and methods for authenticating access to multiple data stores substantially in real-time are disclosed. The system may include a server coupled to a network, a client device in communication with the server via the network and a plurality of data stores. The server may authenticate access to the data stores and forward information from those stores to the client device. An exemplary authentication method may include receipt of a request for access to data. Information concerning access to that data is stored and associated with an identifier assigned to a client device. If the identifier is found to correspond to the stored information during a future request for access to the store, access to that store is granted.

Abstract: The present invention relates to systems and methods for measuring signal strength emitted by a wireless portable device to determine the location of the wireless portable device. The wireless portable device may be located within a designated geographical location, premise or facility. The measurement involves two levels of transmissions. A first level involves a user's wireless portable device receiving signals from a plurality of beacons in the vicinity. The second level involves transmission of repeater signals from a mesh network. The payload of these signals, which may include a duress signal, includes the strength of the received beacon signals, so that when the duress signal is received by a controller, the signal strengths of both levels/types of transmissions can be determined. This two-level collection of signals is then processed by a neural network which have been previously trained to classify the signal collections into precise locations.

Abstract: The present invention includes a system for providing a mobile-based crowdsourcing platform configured to provide an intuitive and semi-automated means of collecting and managing user-driven data by leveraging text messages. The crowdsourcing platform is configured to leverage a Short Message Service (SMS) communication system for generating and transmitting command text messages to mobile devices of users of the service. The command text messages essentially elicit or otherwise train/educate the user's mobile device to automatically transmit requested data back to the crowdsourcing platform, the requested data including the location or position of the user within a given environment.

Abstract: Access control systems and methods herein successfully overcome ACL group width limitations of existing designs by splitting an ACL group across different units, e.g., to create two ACL groups that each has a relatively smaller width. In embodiments, availability of ACL space is increased by hierarchically splitting an ACL table to fit into different two coupled devices and modifying certain fields carrying metadata in packets that are exchanged between the devices, such that one chipset may carry information about the lookup of another. In embodiments, an ACL group for a port extender is created by selectively creating a sub-group with qualifiers that fit within an available group width, and moving the remaining qualifiers to a controlling bridge to achieve the desired functionality.

Abstract: A method and system for combining subsequent data in a communication stream including receiving an indication of a selection of a first image in a communication thread and identifying a user attribute setting associated with the first user. Based on one or more composite image generation rules, the method includes determining that the selected first image is compatible for converting into a composite image. The method further includes accessing a user attribute setting associated with a second user and generating the composite image based on the selected first image and the user attribute settings of the first and second users. The generated composite image is then caused to be displayed in the communication thread.

Abstract: Methods are provided in which a domain name system (DNS) service obtains a lookup request for information about a source of a traffic flow being transmitted to a network resource external of a service cluster and performs, based on the lookup request, a lookup operation for a microservice that is the source of the traffic flow, among a plurality of microservices of the service cluster registered with the DNS service. The methods further include providing information about the microservice based on the lookup operation. The information includes at least a name of the microservice for visibility of the microservice external of the service cluster.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for improving interactions with and between computers in content searching, hosting and/or providing systems supported by or configured with devices, servers and/or platforms. The disclosed systems and methods provide a novel framework for providing users with electronic retrieval capabilities that are activated upon the users' determined locations respective to real-world locations associated with a message providing entity. The disclosed technology combines the previously separate systems of mail extraction, geo-fencing and content delivery (e.g., notification) into a single system that efficiently manages a user's inbox in order to provide the user with content the user has expressly indicated is of interest to that user.

Abstract: Data relating to the status of a vehicle, an internal combustion engine powering the vehicle, and various filtration systems that provide filtered fluid to the vehicle and/or internal combustion engine is generated or gathered by an engine control module and a filtration monitoring system. The engine control module and the filtration monitoring system provide the data to a telematics system for transmitting the data to a remote data center (e.g., a cloud computing system, a remote diagnostics system, a maintenance system, etc.). Depending on an availability of a cellular data connection, the data is either sent directly to the remote data center via a network, or indirectly by first transmitting the data over a local connection to an operator device (e.g., a smartphone), which then sends the data to the remote data center once a connection to the network is available.

An application on the mobile communications receives a pushed message including a set of instructions which when executed cause the mobile communications device to connect to an application server associated with the application executing on the mobile communications device. The pushed message is sent to the mobile communications device by a push mechanism that is one of a plurality of push mechanisms selected by a push service system in response to the push service system receiving a message send request from the application server. Abstract: Aspects of this disclosure are directed to a method of routing text messages to subscribers of toll-free numbers using the toll-free exchange. Typically, an originating texter will draft a text message, using, for example, an SMS component of a cellular phone to a toll-free subscriber. In an aspect of the present disclosure, the text message is sent to the originating texter's service provider, which then routes the text message to the toll-free exchange. The toll-free exchange looks up the RESPORG ID associated with the ten-digit toll-free number, and the RESPORG ID is used for text message routing.

Abstract: A system and method for postponing an electronic message displayed for a user of a computing device. Postponement options are displayed for the user. Display of the electronic message at the computing device is inhibited based on received user input. One option enables a user to repeat the most recently selected postponement option. Another option postpones the electronic message until the computing device is at a user-designated location. Some postponement options are generated according to context of the electronic message, such as the content of the electronic message, the date or time when the user requested the postponement, or prior history of user-selected postponements. The messaging application may include one or more messaging threads between a user and one or more other users. The user may share a media file with another user via a message associated with a message thread. The media files may include photographs, videos, links, screenshots, documents, graphic interchange format (GIF) images, and other media content shared between a user and one or more other users. A communication platform may determine that the message includes a media file and may associate the media file with media galleries associated with the user and the other user. The media galleries may enable both users to easily access shared media content and to quickly identify a particular media files of interest.

The selected group-based communication channel is updated to indicate that the selected group-based messaging communications was relegated to a separate display pane, informing the channel members while also allowing the channel members to access the separate display pane if desired.
