Each of note sheet sets includes first and second paper sheets, first and second adhesive layers, a color-developing coating layer, and a coarse particle coating layer. The color-developing coating layer is formed on at least one of the first and second paper sheets. The coarse particle coating layer is formed on a lower surface of the second paper sheet, and has a roughened surface to prevent a scribbling pressure applied to a writing surface of the first paper sheet of a topmost one of the note sheet sets from affecting a next one of the note sheet sets.

Abstract: A removable label guest book assembly provides a record of guests attending an event and removable labels to facilitate subsequent communication with those who attended the event. The guest book assembly includes a plurality of pages coupled together forming a book. A plurality of removable labels is coupled to the pages. The labels each have a writing surface configured for being written on by a writing implement. A plurality of recording sheets is provided. Each label has an associated recording sheet positioned between the label and the page. Thus, the recording sheet transfers writing on the writing surface of the label onto the associated page.

Abstract: The present invention provides a shipping method for guaranteeing that an article for shipping has remained sealed with a seal and has remained unopened. Specifically, first, the sender is asked to enter a signature on a seal. Because of the pressure from a writing implement at time of entering, the signature is copied to a sheet for verification. An article for shipping is sealed with a seal and transported to a recipient. The signature on the seal is verified against the signature on the sheet for verification. By confirming that the two match, it is confirmed that the seal has not been replaced. Thus it is guaranteed that the article for shipping has remained sealed with the seal and has remained unopened.

Abstract: A prescription paper has reproduction material placed on selected areas of the back side of the paper so that prescription information can be transferred directly onto the patient's records while the prescription writer is writing the prescription. The reproduction material can be a carbonized backing or any other suitable reproduction material. The front side of the prescription paper comprises at least two lines that are separated by a pre-selected distance to match the distance between adjacent lines on the medical record. The prescription writer can align the lines on the prescription paper to the lines on the medical record so that information can be neatly transferred to the space between the lines on the medical record.

Abstract: Unauthorized alteration of a document can be avoided in a secure document that includes a substrate (10) defining the body of the document. Indicia (24, 26, 30, 32, 36 and 40) located on the substrate (10) designate an area (42) to receive variable information by an impression. The variable information is that whose alteration is to be avoided. A chemical, carbonless imaging system (44) is disposed on the substrate (10) at the area (42) and is operative to form a visible image upon receipt of an impression and a transparent film (46) is located on the substrate (10) to cover the area (42). As a consequence of the construction, any attempt to alter an image appearing on the film (46) will be apparent from the original imaging of the chemical carbonless imaging system (44) or by smudging thereof indicating an alteration attempt.

Abstract: Novel microcapsules are characterized in that the walls thereof consist of reaction products of crosslinking agents with iminooxadiazinedione isocyanates or the walls thereof contain such reaction products. A process for the production of such microcapsules has also been found, as have carbonless copying papers containing such microcapsules.

Abstract: A set of legal form blanks intended for conveying information obtained during a single legal transaction to a plurality of legal entities. A horizontal first line of separation is provided across the entire width of the legal form blanks for separation of the legal form blanks after completion into documents having separate uses or purposes. A vertical second line of separation is provided perpendicular to the first line of separation such that left and right sets of legal form blanks are formed. Common information and different but related information can be provided on immediately adjacent legal form blanks of the left and right sets of legal form blanks.

Abstract: A prescription pharmacy label comprises a face stock having top and bottom faces with a pressure sensitive adhesive on at least a major portion of the bottom face, and a release liner engaging the pressure sensitive adhesive. A CB coating is provided on a first portion of the top face, and a CF coating on a second portion of the top face, separated by a first fold line, and a third portion of the top face is uncoated. A second fold line is provided in the release liner so that the label may be Z-folded about the fold lines so that the CB and CF coatings are in face-to-face engagement, and underlie the third portion, so that handwriting provided on the third portion is transferred to the CF coating on the second portion. Information entered on the two, front and back surfaces of the original panel are reproduced on the two surfaces of the copy panel by carbonless copy treatments. In one embodiment, the original panel is fully coated or partially coated with carbonless CB treatment, on both surfaces, and the copy panel is fully coated or partially coated with carbonless CF treatment. In a variation of this embodiment, the original panel is not coated, and the copy panel is coated in selected areas with carbonless SC treatment. In a second embodiment, the original panel is not coated, an image-transferring panel is fully coated on both surfaces with carbonless CB treatment, and the copy panel is fully coated with carbonless CF treatment. In a variation of this embodiment, the image-transferring panel is formed of a separate sheet of paper.

Abstract: A credit card transaction form set provides a customer copy form which is attached to any and all carbon sheets in the set in a readily detachable manner so that the complete carbon sheets can be removed from the customer copy if desired. The customer copy overlays a bottom, OCR bond form, and preferably is a CF carbonless sheet. The set may be either three part or four part, with the top form a CB carbonless sheet, and the fourth part--if provided--a CFB carbonless sheet. A S/F carbon sheet disposed between the customer copy and the OCR bond is attached to the customer copy by permanent adhesive adjacent an edge of the customer copy opposite its attachment to the other forms of the set, and the customer copy is connected by perforations to the carbon sheet.
