  • Patent number: 11060727
Abstract: Disclosed herein are a fuel nozzle assembly and a gas turbine including the same. The fuel nozzle assembly includes a fuel nozzle, a head end plate to which the fuel nozzle is fixedly fastened, and a nozzle casing to which the head end plate is fixed. The fuel nozzle includes an injection cylinder having a nozzle flange fixed to the head end plate, and a nozzle shroud surrounding the injection cylinder and forming a passage between its inner wall and the injection cylinder. The injection cylinder is fastened to the head end plate by a plurality of fixing bolts arranged in a circumferential direction of the nozzle flange. Each of the fixing bolts is fitted to a pressure plate, which extends in the circumferential direction of the nozzle flange and is pressed against a flat surface thereof, to fasten the injection cylinder to the head end plate.

  • Patent number: 7131809
Abstract: The body bolt absorber assembly includes a lower body absorber made from rubber or a similar material with an undersized aperture, formed either during manufacture or by subsequent piercing, to slideably engage and capture a bolt. The lower body absorber further includes interior cylindrical walls with an inwardly extending lip thereby forming a chamber to engage and capture a washer. The washer includes an aperture through which the shaft of the bolt passes. The engagement and capture of the bolt and the washer provides for a one-piece modular assembly.

  • Patent number: 5906544
Abstract: A high speed apparatus for assembling washers on headed parts such as bolt blanks, wherein individual washers are mechanically positively placed and seated onto individual blanks. The apparatus includes a linear transfer mechanism for progressively shifting the blanks through successive stations at which a washer is first placed on the end of a blank, is then "stuffed" axially along the shank of the blank, and is then positively abutted with the head. Various movements of the washers and blanks are effected by individual servomotors that greatly simplify the complexity of the apparatus, provide timing/stroke flexibility, and independent control.

  • Patent number: 5308285
Abstract: A method for fabricating a fastener and washer assembly wherein the washer is permanently retained on the fastener by an annular raised portion on the shank of the fastener. The annular raised portion and the inner diameter of the washer are mutually formed so as to promote elastic deformation of both the raised portion and the washer when the washer is forced over the raised portion to be retained on the fastener. The method allows the fastener and the washer to be fully fabricated and processed prior to assembly, including such desirable steps as heat treating and plating of both the fastener and the washer. The annular raised portion is formed by a pair of converging annular surfaces which define a predetermined diameter. The washer has an inner diameter surface having a pair of chamfered edges. The washer is assembled onto the shank of the fastener by forcing the chamfered edge of the washer against and past the annular raised portion.
