Article Travels Over Stationary Track Or Platform Patents (Class 472/12)
  • Patent number: 11904686
Abstract: In general, the subject matter described in this disclosure can be embodied in methods, systems, and program products for performing vehicle control. A computing system determines a difference between a recent rate of change and a historical rate of change of a rotating vehicle shaft of a vehicle during a vehicle race. The computing system determines that the difference between the recent rate of change of the rotating vehicle shaft and the historical rate of change of the rotating vehicle shaft satisfies a criteria for limiting vehicle power, wherein the computing system changes the criteria for limiting vehicle power during the vehicle race. The computing system sends a signal for receipt by a vehicle component of the vehicle, to cause the vehicle component to limit rotation of the rotating vehicle shaft.

  • Patent number: 11164490
Abstract: A sign waving machine platform for street side promotions that incorporates a base frame, a sign waving apparatus plus an upper web to attach accessories including mannequins and electric signs. The sign waving apparatus includes a motor housing, battery, electric motor and bracket assembly that couples the motor drive shaft to a sign frame which moves relative to the housing as the motor drive shaft rotates. Signs can be attached to all sides of the sign frame. The platform attaches at the top only to posts, carts and other so it can freely swing in many directions with the wind. This rugged, lightweight platform has a primary structure made from 2 aluminum tubes; one slides inside the other and telescopes. Fastening occurs using thumb screws attached to the outer tubes and joints that when twisted, pinches the inside interconnecting tubes. The platform stretches in many directions providing numerous configurations.

  • Patent number: 5986189
Abstract: A music carrousel structure with various dynamic actions, including several decorative articles, a stem and a base. The power mechanism of the music box is fixed on a support tray. The power output shaft is engaged with a gear which is engaged with a toothed ring. The center of the toothed ring is disposed with a central disc which is on the same plane as the lower surface of the toothed ring. The above members are all hidden in a canopy. The canopy is fixed with a fixing disc or a hanging disc. The toy horses via copper rods are hung on outer periphery of the toothed ring or the support tray. The canopy is supported on the support rod. A stem in the support rod is connected with a transmission mechanism in the base, whereby the power is transmitted to the transmission mechanism. The decorative articles are fixed on the transverse levers and get into and out of the holes of the base by means of cooperation of the springs and waved block.

  • Patent number: 5203743
Abstract: An ornamental carousel assembly is disclosed which simulates the movements of a full-size carousel by supporting various carousel figures that both reciprocate vertically and revolve around a central vertical support column along with a canopy. The rotating and reciprocating ornaments are supported on a central support assembly by a bearing arrangement which minimizes the friction developed during movement of the ornamental elements so as to permit a miniature wind-up music box mechanism to drive the carousel. The drive assembly from the miniature wind-up music box mechanism includes a gear drive assembly for transferring drive from an output shaft of the miniature wind-up music box mechanism to rotate and reciprocate the various ornamental figures and a spring which is used to impart the necessary rotary drive force to the canopy.

  • Patent number: 5163878
Abstract: An ornamental carousel assembly is disclosed which simulates a full-size carousel in that various figurines are supported upon a revolving platform below a canopy. The canopy is formed from a flexible material and is supported on the rotatable platform by a canopy support assembly. The canopy support assembly is composed of a plurality of interconnected ring elements and is attached to the platform by various support rods which are spaced about the periphery of the platform. Since the canopy is made from a flexible material and the canopy support assembly may be disassembled into its individual links, the carousel can be shipped and stored in a relatively small container.
