    Abstract: The outer two layers, composed of an undercoat of an ionomer and a topcoat of polyurethane, on a wooden core of a bowling pin are bonded together by use of either of a polyfunctional aziridine or polyfunctional carbodiimide providing superior adhesion under shock plus several shop advantages including lessened air pollution and ease of application.
