  • Patent number: 10729961
Abstract: A soccer ball kicking training device (1) having a support base (3) with a column member (5) extending substantially vertically upright therefrom along a first axis (7) and an arm (9) extending outwardly along a second axis (11) between first and second end portions (13,15). The first end portion (13) has a ball (17) attached to it and the second end portion (15) is attached to a hinge mechanism (21) mounted to an upper part (5?) of the upright column (5). The hinge mechanism (21) supports the arm (9) for pivotal movement about a horizontal third axis (23) relative to the upright column (5) and the first axis (7). The hinge mechanism (21) additionally includes an inclination angle adjustment mechanism to adjust the up and down angle range of the arm (9) about the horizontal third axis (23) and the device (1) also provides an anti-pinch arrangement for safety.

  • Patent number: 10610765
Abstract: A pool table has a removable dining surface and a gravity-based ball-return system located transversely between end legs of the pool table. Balls that have been pocketed during a game on the table's playing bed are commonly collected in one of inclined two gullies that connect together multiple pockets. The gullies are peripheral to the table and directly beneath pockets that are, preferably, either side of a central longitudinal axis of the table. The ball return system includes a stacked arrangement of runners that receive a pocketed ball from a cascading drop at the end of each gully. Once into the stack, a ball separation device identifies and selectively separates a cue ball from object balls, with the cue ball directed downwards towards a free-return box while object balls are directed along a different downward path.

  • Patent number: 9026398
Abstract: A motion analysis device includes two posture angle sensors attached to a measurement object at locations distant from each other, a data acquisition section, a posture angle correction section, and a deformation amount calculation section. The data acquisition section acquires data of a first posture angle and a second posture angle respectively detected by the posture angle sensors. The posture angle correction section corrects a difference between the first posture angle and the second posture angle after starting a motion of the measurement object in accordance with a difference between the first posture angle and the second posture angle before starting the motion of the measurement object. The deformation amount calculation section calculates a deformation amount of the measurement object based on a difference between the first posture angle and the second posture angle corrected by the posture angle correction section.

  • Patent number: 8734262
Abstract: The improved billiard ball rack positioning system is an invention that allows a user to quickly and easily position a billiard ball type rack. The rack of the system includes a plurality of position indicating LEDs and a plurality of proximity sensors mounted thereon. Proper positioning of the rack at a predetermined location on a playing surface or table causes actuation of the proximity sensors and consequently lighting of the indication lights. Lighting of all of the indication lights functions as an indication to the user that the rack is properly positioned. In contrast to prior art devices, the improved billiard ball rack positioning system provides for a “go/no-go” type of position indication means.

  • Patent number: 8702540
Abstract: An intra-digital orthosis for use in shooting a ball such as a basketball comprising: index and ring finger receptacles each having an aperture; a middle finger backstop; and first and second shafts joining the index and ring finger receptacles to the middle finger backstop. The orthosis preferably spaces apart and/or encourages flexion of the distal phalanges of at least a user's index and ring fingers and/or facilitates an arch angle between those fingers and the user's middle finger that approximates the curvature of the ball being thrown so as to facilitate and enhance the user's ability to position the hand when shooting the ball.

  • Publication number: 20110143847
Abstract: A pool table includes a table board with pockets and a table base disposed under the table board; wherein, the table base comprises two longer rails, two shorter rails, and multiple legs. Each longer rail has an interior barrier and an exterior barrier longitudinally and parallel spaced thereon. Two bottom slant plates are laterally disposed between the interior and exterior barriers. A guiding oblique slot, on the bottom slant plates, is enclosed by the interior barrier, the exterior barrier, and the bottom slant plates. The bottom slant plates provides bevels respectively extending aslant and downward from two edges of the longer rail and convening at the middle thereof to generate a gathering zone. Accordingly, the above arrangements create a ball collecting configuration different from the typical ones and facilitate to smoothly gather balls, streamline the product structure for a convenience of production, and enhance the product strength and lifetime.
