With Mechanical Ball Projector Patents (Class 473/5)
  • Patent number: 7476157
Abstract: A cue ball point of aim training device, comprising a target, a target positioning member, a transverse member, and a support structure provided for aiming a cue ball with respect to a given object ball. The base of the support structure, when positioned on the playing surface, resides to one side of a line bisecting the object ball along the desired direction of travel, and can remain in place during a shot on the object ball. The target, representing where the center of a cue ball needs to be to effectuate a desired trajectory for a given object ball, is positioned by the other components of the device in an opposite direction along the line of intended travel of the object ball. Through repeated use in practice, the cue ball point of aim training device may aid in improving one's skill in playing the game of billiards.

  • Patent number: 6468165
Abstract: Millenn Golf is a recreational form of golf played indoors or outdoors in a yard, field, gymnasium or basketball court or other hard surface, in which players use ordinary golf clubs to strike the Nium Flyer from a portable strip of synthetic turf, causing the Nium Flyer to fly toward a goal called the Netty Millenn in the fewest number of strokes until the Nium Flyer lands in and rests in the Netty Millenn. Each player then removes the Nium Flyer, places it on the synthetic turf and proceeds to repeat the game process completing the course as determined by the players and/or the game master. The object of the game is to complete the course in the fewest strokes as possible as in regular golf. The player with the fewest strokes, as in regular golf, is the winner. Millenn Golf is an economical, portable and flexible form of golf which can be enjoyed by people of differing ages in all types of weather, even indoors.

  • Patent number: 5275398
Abstract: A new and improved apparatus for use with a pool or billiard table includes a stick assembly and arrays of light reflectors attached to the table, in parallel with the respective ball-rebounding surfaces. The stick assembly includes a stick and a laser unit connected to the stick. The laser unit includes a housing which is adjustably connected to a bracket which receives the stick. The stick can also include a spring-loaded ram assembly for striking a ball with a predetermined force that results from an amount of energy stored in a compressed spring. A trigger releases the compressed spring permitting the spring to drive the ram to strike a ball. To employ the apparatus for a straight shot, a first ball, which is to be struck by the stick, a second ball, which is to be struck by the first ball, and a target location, such as a pocket, are selected by a player.
