  • Patent number: 7410435
Abstract: A hydraulic pipe mechanism for an industrial vehicle includes a pulley shaft, a plurality of hydraulic hoses and a pulley set. The pulley set is provided on the pulley shaft and has at least first and second hose pulleys that are rotatably supported on the pulley shaft. The first and second hose pulleys are respectively located on sides of the pulley set and each has a guide groove for hooking the hydraulic hose therein. Each of the first and second hose pulleys has a pair of outer and inner flanges that form side walls of the guide groove respectively. Each outer flange is located on the side of the pulley set, and each inner flange is located inside the outer flange in the pulley set. Each outer flange has a first radius, and each inner flange has a second radius. The first radius is larger than the second radius.

  • Patent number: 6371448
Abstract: A traction sheave for driving synthetic fiber ropes, preferably of an elevator installation, ensures a consistently good selected tractive capacity that is largely independent of external influences which reduce friction. At least part of the rope running surface on the traction sheave is provided with a selected roughness grade of N7 to N12. The selected roughness grade on the running surface is formed either by mechanical machining or by use of a suitable coating, preferably a plasma coating of corundum. For example, only the bed of the rope groove, the area of the flanks of the rope groove, or a wide area of the surface of the rope groove can be of the selected roughness grade. By correspondingly suitable arrangement of these differently formed rope grooves on the traction sheave, a desired tractive behavior can be systematically effected.

  • Patent number: 6112732
Abstract: A compound bow carries eccentrics, each of which has a non-circular string groove with a geometric center removed from the axis of the eccentric and a take-up groove which is out of registration with the string groove about substantially the entire peripheries of the grooves. The two grooves are carried by respective sheaves rotatably joined through a hub which is itself rotatably connected to one of the sheaves. Other aspects of the present invention relate to a unique idler used in combination with a single-cam embodiment of the present invention.

  • Patent number: 4955133
Abstract: A method of making a pulley with a number of V-shaped grooves, especially having a stepped shape, comprises a rim or rims and a core which are separately formed by an appropriate plastic process and are fixed or connected fixedly to each other by a metallurgical or mechanical processing. According to one embodiment, a short pipe-shaped blank is rolled to produce a rim with a number of V-shaped grooves, and thereafter the rim or rims is fixed to a core by the action of the rolling to interfit serrations on the rim and core.

  • Patent number: 4545192
Abstract: A yarn false twisting apparatus is disclosed which comprises a pair of rotating circular discs having cooperating friction surfaces for engaging a running yarn at a twisting zone. The drive system for the discs includes a drive component which includes a drive whorl and a coaxial drive pulley, and which is adapted to engage two separate drive belts. The drive component includes a unitary tubular drive member, a central shaft extending through and fixed to the drive member, a sleeve mounted to the frame of the apparatus and extending between the shaft and drive member, and bearings positioned between the shaft and sleeve. Also, the drive component is mounted to the frame by an arrangement which permits adjustment of the rotational axis of the drive whorl about a second axis which perpendicularly intersects the rotational axis, so as to permit accurate alignment of the rotational axis of the whorl along a direction perpendicular to the running direction of the tangential drive belt.
