Lever Reciprocates On Moveable Supports At Both Ends Patents (Class 477/216)
  • Patent number: 9829908
Abstract: One embodiment of a bidirectional pedal assembly includes a base structure connectable to a vehicle structure and a pedal support member pivotally mounted on the base structure to be pivotable around an axis of rotation from a rest position in a first direction and in a second direction opposite to the first direction. First and second spring elements to urge the pedal support member to its rest position. First and second frictional mechanisms are disposed between the pedal support member and the first and second springs, such that the first and second frictional mechanisms, respectively, moves with the pedal support member and transmits force from the pedal support member to one of the first and second spring elements. Each frictional mechanism is arranged to increase a frictional resistance to retard pivotal movements of the pedal support member upon force being transmitted through the respective frictional mechanism.

  • Patent number: 9304529
Abstract: An apparatus for reducing a clutch pedal effort for a vehicle may include a pedal arm lever provided at an upper portion of a pedal arm and protruding forward, a torsion lever, one end of which is installed to be rotatable with respect to a pedal member and positioned at a front side of the pedal arm lever, and a back force link that is rotatably installed in the pedal member between the pedal arm lever and the torsion lever so that one end is connected to the pedal arm lever and the other end contacts the torsion lever, and that decreases the effort by generating turnover force when the pedal arm rotates forward and increases return force when the pedal arm rotates backward.

  • Patent number: 7540826
Abstract: A brake-pedal operating rod mechanism and an accelerator-pedal operating link mechanism. The operating rod mechanism includes one end with a grip and another end with first, second and third brake rods laterally pivotally connected to a frame connected to a brake pedal bracket. The accelerator-pedal operating link mechanism includes a connecting rod longitudinally movably received in the brake rods of the brake-pedal operating rod mechanism, an accelerator-pedal operating lever pivoted by the connecting rod and extending toward an accelerator pedal, an accelerator-pedal operating link connected to an end of the operating lever away from the connecting rod and having a tip end with an accelerator pedal bracket, and a support link pivoted to the frame and to a laterally intermediate portion of the operating lever such that the link can be swung in directions in parallel with those of the operating rod mechanism.
