Baffle Plate Guided In Chamber Slot Patents (Class 49/424)
  • Patent number: 9554660
Abstract: A door is constructed for a refrigerated cabinet and includes an insulated glass IG unit of rectangular shape and a frame surrounding the unit. The frame is formed of a pair of horizontally disposed aluminum rails and a pair of vertically disposed plastic stiles. Each stile is secured at each end to a respective end of each of the rails by screws. Each rail and stile receives the insulated glass unit in a recessed manner. Full perimeter gasketing of the door is obtained by a vertical gasket on the stile on the hinged side of the door and a pair of horizontal seals on the cabinet opposite the rails of the door.

  • Patent number: 9103156
Abstract: A blind system uses a typical door or window frame that has a hermetically sealed double glazing within an opening of its main frame. A blind assembly is removably received within a rabbet of the main frame while a secondary frame is removably attached to the main frame by passing screws through the secondary frame, the screws being received within bosses located in the rabbet of the main frame, the secondary frame overlying the blind assembly. A single glazing is sealably attached to the secondary frame. The blind assembly is bordered by a spacer that holds a desiccant therein.

Abstract: An air and/or debris dam for moving coil balance assembly for a hung window is disclosed. The air and/or debris dam is located between the carrier and a mounting location of a moving coil window balance assembly. The air and/or debris dam can travel within the jamb channel of a window frame assembly to inhibit airflow and/or the deposition of dust and/or debris in the jamb channel.

  • Patent number: 7174944
Abstract: A triple slide assembly for a three panel door system that mounts on a two track header and allows the panels to slide easily and sequentially with an interlocking function that provides a means to align the panels. The outer rails or panels each have an inward facing track to support rollers mounted to the middle rail or panel in an alternating configuration. The track and roller assembly interlocks the three panels and has stops, positioned in the ends of the inward facing tracks, keep the panels interlocked. The inward facing tracks and middle rail or panel remain aligned with the header when the outer panels are adjusted to align with adjacent door jambs to provide a smooth sliding operation. The triple slide assembly can be used for a six-door, center opening enclosure and for a five panel sliding assembly mounted on a three track header.

  • Patent number: 6438795
Abstract: The buffer device (10) has a body (11) which can be fitted in a rail (4), a damping element (12) for cushioning, and a retaining spring (13) for retaining a running mechanism (6) which is guided in the rail (4) and is provided for carrying and guiding slidable wing elements (2). The at least approximately U-profile-shaped body (11) of the buffer device (10), which body is punched and bent from a metal element, has a first and a second wing (14; 18), which wings are connected to each other by a central piece (20) whose tongue-shaped extension forms the retaining spring (13) serving to retain the running mechanism (6). The end pieces (17, 19, 26; 17*, 19*) of the wings (14; 18) are configured in such a manner that they are suitable for retaining the damping element (12). The buffer device (10) can be manufactured cost-effectively from a single metal plate and can be completed by a damping element (12).

  • Patent number: 4425739
Abstract: Means providing a sound trap along one edge of a sliding panel and comprising a pair of substantially parallel and transversely spaced-apart wall members extending longitudinally from a panel stop. The space between wall members, in turn, provides a transverse gap spacing between the panel and each wall member, the longitudinal extension of said wall members from the stop being approximately two and one-half times the transverse gap spacing between the panel and the wall members. The sound trap thus provided allows the panel to be moved from a position of closure against the stop to a position that provides a gap distance opening between wall members with an overlap one and one-half times the gap spacing.
