Roller Patents (Class 5/216)
  • Patent number: 9427116
Abstract: A hammock tub assembly serves as both a hammock for leisure swinging, sleeping, or resting; and a tub for soaking, hydrotherapy, and pleasure. A suspended non-permeable panel conforms to the shape and weight of the loads. The non-permeable panel is defined by a body portion and a perimeter portion. The body portion supports the solid and liquid loads, conforming to the shapes and weight of each load. The perimeter portion includes fastening points that maintain a fixed position for the body portion for enabling the stretching of the body portion into a generally concave shape. When stretched between the fixed points, the body portion forms a generally concave shape that cradles the solid load and contains the liquid load. The liquid is circulated through a filtering portion. A lighting portion, a sound portion, and a data portion enhance the therapeutic effects.

  • Patent number: 5771510
Abstract: A bed with movable bedposts mainly including a bed plank which cooperates with two sliding rails, two sliding rail bearings with extended plates, two steel cords, a fixing member, and a motor and transmission gears and chain to move two bedposts relative to the bed plank to either a receded position or a normal position. Different kinds of frills or curtains round a canopy frame on the bedposts can be folded or extended along with the movable bedposts to give different sights in a room.

  • Patent number: 5058952
Abstract: A seat includes a plurality of flexible belts, each extending in a loop about a fixed tubular member and an opposed rotatable tubular member, the tubular members being mounted in a seat frame. A pair of spaced extensible outer support arms are associated with each belt. Each pair of outer support arms is pivotally mounted on one end to rotatable support shafts on the seat frame and have upper ends slidably disposed in a belt loop to engage the points of contact between the top and bottom surfaces of a belt loop on opposite sides of a user of the seat. The belts and outer pivotal support arms are releasably latchable in the conformed position about a user. Pivotal inner leg support arms are coupled to an endmost pair of outer support arms to conform the inner portions of an endmost belt about a user.

  • Patent number: 4899403
Abstract: A bed base having first and second members which are of generally U-shaped configuration so as to slidably telescope together to permit expansion or contraction of the bed base in the lengthwise direction. Locking mechanisms coact between the telescoping legs to lock the bed base in the selected expanded or contracted position. A sheetlike cover is anchored at one end of the bed base and extends along the upper surface thereof towards the other end, at which point an intermediate part of the cover wraps downwardly around a guide drum and then projects reversely toward the other end of the bed base. The lower free end edge of the cover is connected to a compensating mechanism which adjusts the cover length, namely by moving the cover upwardly or downwardly around the guide drum, so that the upper section of the cover always stretches tautly across the upper surface of the bed base irrespective of the adjusted expanded or contracted position.
