A parallelogram has joints, which are connected to each other through an elongated-hole guide, one joint can be moved in the elongated-hole guide, wherein the rods are articulated to the joint pin, a bushing arranged therebetween, the pin extends into a pulley having a restoring spring, on which pulley a cable is wound and fastened to the joint, at a certain height of the mattress, the cable is tensioned and the angle is reduced, the cable causes the rotation of the pulley in such a way that the mattress is rotated.

This sofa-bed includes a base, opposite end and armrest structures, the backrest-bed unit, and a single pivot pin and slot connection between each end of the backrest-bed unit and the corresponding opposite end and backrest structure for readily disconnection of the backrest-bed unit by were sliding of each pivot pin out of the corresponding slot.

    Abstract: A dwelling such as a ski cabin is provided with hideaway beds for conserving space. The beds are mounted on floor sections that pivot about medial horizontal axes, between a position in which the bed is lowermost and the floor unimpeded, and a position in which the bed is uppermost for use. Releasable locks are provided for releasably securing the bed in either of these positions. A night table is similarly vertically swingable between operative and hidden positions. The beds are mounted in elevated floors; and double doors are provided for access to the dwelling, which doors are so constructed as to serve also as storage closets for skis or the like.
