Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel crib bumper device which creates a safe and soft environment for an infant sleeping in a crib. The device is configured to fit snugly between the vertical slats of a crib. Specifically, the device comprises a foam component of adjustable length, with a flat back surface and an inside portion comprising elongated, mushroom-shaped columns sized to fit between the vertical slats of a crib. The flat outside surface is then secured around the perimeter of a crib via a hook and loop fastener strap.

Abstract: A sofa armrest structure and a sofa are provided. A connection pipe is provided with a connection through hole. A first connection hole is formed in a first fixing frame and corresponds to the connection through hole. A second connection hole is formed in a second fixing frame and corresponds to the connection through hole, and an internal thread structure is formed in the second connection hole. One end of a connection rod is provided with a nut, and the other end of the connection rod is provided with an external thread structure. The end with the external thread structure of the connection rod passes through the connection through hole and the first connection hole and is connected to the internal thread structure in the second connection hole through the external thread structure. An inner chamber protection layer is detachably arranged on a fixing frame body through hook-and-loop fasteners.

Abstract: A bed rail having an operating position at one of the sides of a bed and a stored position between a mattress and box spring of the bed. To take down the bed rail, a guard frame portion is disengaged from a base frame portion, then the guard frame portion is pivoted and slid into the base frame portion. To set up the bed rail, the guard frame portion can be slid out of the base frame portion, pivoted relative to the base frame portion, then engaged to the base frame portion and into the operating position at a side of the bed.

Abstract: A pad assembly for an occupant platform having rails. The pad assembly includes a foam pad comprising an outward portion that covers an outward face of one rail and a top portion that covers a top end of the one rail. The pad assembly also includes an inner casing that encases and is attached to the foam pad and an outer cover that covers the inner casing. The outer cover has a fastener for securing the pad assembly to the one rail.

Abstract: A system for minimizing damage to an object located rearward of a chair from rearward movement of a backrest portion of the chair by a powered movement apparatus, and the backrest portion may be movable rearwardly from a substantially upright position to a reclined position. The system may comprise an apparatus positionable on the backrest portion of the chair and configured to be triggered when the apparatus contacts an object positioned rearward of the backrest portion. The apparatus may be configured to be interfaced with the movement apparatus of the chair to interrupt rearward movement of the backrest portion when the apparatus is triggered.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to resilient side rails for medical tables. In some aspects, a side rail for a medical table includes an elongated body having a height and a width that are configured to be received by a medical accessory, and the elongated body is formed of a material having a modulus of elasticity that is about 50 gigapascals to about 150 gigapascals and a yield strength that is about 40×107 pascals to about 120×107 pascals.

Abstract: A bumper pad includes a base attached to a material that extends over the rail and couples as a crib teething rail cover. The bumper pad includes a base, mesh sides, and a teething rail cover. In some embodiments, the sides are separable from the base. Abstract: A bed plate attaches to inner rail plates on each side with hinges or the like, which slides into a bed and rail plate envelope. This bed and rail cover may be placed on top of a hospital bed. When the bed rails are locked in an upwards position the bed cover envelope may be fastened to the outer bed rails or bed frame to hold it in place. The firmness of the bed and rail cover eliminates the possibility of the patient enstranglment in-between the mattress, bed frame, or side rails. The padding within the bed and rail plate envelope eliminates the risk of patients injuring themselves while hitting the bed frame or bed rail.

Abstract: A bed frame wherein the side rail and/or cross rails are fully encased in plastic shields. A plastic shield or shields cover the entire cross sectional area of the side and cross rails so that the side rail and cross rails are easy to handle and esthetically pleasing. The system avoids the need for a person to handle cold, sometimes dirty, steel and the cross and side rails may be T-shaped or L-shaped angle irons, or other configurations and covered with plastic shields. With the plastic shields, the steel members need not be finished since the outer appearance of the steel is encased by the plastic shields and not seen by persons.

Abstract: A crib is provided that includes a mattress support portion, a horizontal member and a vertical member. The horizontal member may correspond to a portion of a front or back wall of the crib. The vertical member may correspond to a post adjacent the horizontal member, which vertical member includes an upper end that extends above the mattress support portion and a lower end that extends below the mattress support portion. The crib may also include at least one bumper mounted with a fastener that connects the vertical member to the horizontal member of the crib.

The bumper and liner system includes pads with apertures that allow for added air circulation. Each pad may further include ties for attaching the pad to the bars of the crib. Support stays are included in the liner pads to help ensure that the liner pad do not sag once put in place in the crib.

Abstract: The embodiment described is unique and different from previous arts as it provides a safer sleeping environment for infants and toddlers without the use of any internal props or devices that a child can get underneath and become entangled in. It is independent from the cradle or crib which gives it an extended life beyond the four-walled crib. It can be used in a transitional bed to aid in keeping the child mentioned from falling out of bed when introduced. The center of the embodiment is also a moisture barrier; which means a consumer does not have to purchase a separate mattress protector. These are additional conveniences to the consumer that previous arts do not incorporate.

The gap shield has a first shield member and a second shield member. The second shield member is rotatably connected to the second section of the bed. The first shield member is rotatably and translationally connected to the second shield member. The gap shield assembly also has a width extender assembly connecting the first shield member to the first section of the bed to allow the first shield member to move inwardly and outwardly with respect to a centerline of the bed while still shielding the open area between the first and second sections of the bed.

Abstract: A crib liner and method of lining an infant crib are provided that greatly reduce the risk of an infant injury resulting from an infant's arm or legs extending through the slats or rails or a crib. The crib liner is provided with a plurality of panels that can have a perforated section and a cushioned section. The plurality of panels may be separated into individual panels by a plurality of stabilizers. The crib liner may be attached to the crib by at least one fastener. The fastener may be located in any area that allows the crib liner to be removably secured attached to the crib.

Abstract: The breathable bedding described here serves to protect an infant from suffocating due to close contact with bedding. The breathable bedding includes one or more breathable bedding elements, which are made of a material that allows air to pass through it freely, is flexible, yet has sufficient stiffness to hold a three-dimensional shape. The three-dimensional shape ensures a cushioning effect. The breathable bedding elements are covered with a breathable fabric, such as a light woven or open-weave fabric, to form a breathable bedding panel that may serve as a crib bumper or mattress.

The at least one cover members includes a flap portion which wraps around and covers a portion of one of the upright side posts and upper frame members and is secured therearound so as to prevent access around the at least one of the upright side posts and upper frame members which is covered by the flap portion.

The device can be decorative, providing an enhanced visual appeal to a wheel of a bed frame or other portion of a furniture leg.

In such a position, the device reduces dust and dirt from accumulating under a bed, provides an element of increased security for objects that are stored under the bed, and prevents pets such as dogs, cats, and the like from running under the bed during storms or when seeking seclusion. The device also provides a unique visual element; however, it can easily be covered by a dust ruffle should its appearance not be desired.

Each segment provided with pairs of cooperating vertical flaps that extend around balusters of the baby crib and are tied together on the outside of the crib via short tie fasteners provided on the vertical flaps to secure the segments to the crib. A lower border on each segment is a continuously repeating series of u-shaped crescents that touch each other so that longer portions of the crescents rest on and support the segments above the crib mattress and shorter portions of the crescents form lower openings with the crib mattress. The lower openings permit air to flow between the inside and outside of the crib, thereby preventing the baby from being strangled or suffocated by the pad and helping to prevent SIDS.

For example, the article may include a pillow and/or foot protector having the designated color displayed prominently for a customer's reference. The method may further include grouping at least a portion of the mattresses together within the showroom based on the type of mattress, and displaying one of each type of mattress in a common region (e.g., a comparison center) for side-by-side comparisons of the different types of mattresses by customers.
