Abstract: A lubricating fluid composition for dynamic pressure bearings which supports a shaft by dynamic pressure, said lubricating fluid composition comprising fine magnetic particles dispersed in a base oil solvent, to which solvent is added an amine anti-gelling agent.
Abstract: A lubricating fluid composition for dynamic pressure bearings which supports the shaft of the bearing by dynamic pressure, wherein the lubricating fluid composition comprises fine magnetic particles dispersed in a base oil solvent which comprises a hydrogenated poly-.alpha.-olefin (PAO) and a polyol ester.

Abstract: There is disclosed an improved process for making a lubricant grease wherein a basic oil is mixed with a thickening compound, a polar compound and an additive or additives to impart desired characteristics to the grease. The improvement includes selecting the basic oil from the group consisting of a polyolester, a silicone oil, a mineral oil, a vegetable oil, glycerine and propylene glycol. The improvement further includes first mixing the basic oil with a mixture of two polar agents in a vessel under constant stirring at a temperature and pressure sufficient to obtain a homogeneous mixture and then and only then reacting the homogenous mixture with the additive or additives and a thickening agent.
Abstract: A synthetic lubricating oil comprises an ester derived from (a) a monohydric alcohol having 4 to 18 carbon atoms which has a branched alcohol content of not less than 50 mol % and/or a neopentylpolyol having not more than 30 carbon atoms, (b) a hydroxycarboxylic acid condensate having an average degree of polymerization of not less than 1.2, and (c) a monocarboxylic acid having 4 to 18 carbon atoms which has a branched carboxylic acid content of not less than 50 mol %.
Abstract: Disclosed are an apparatus having sliding parts and a compound for preventing diffusion or separation of a base oil; and a compound for preventing diffusion or separation of the base oil used for the apparatus: an electronic or electric appliance using a joul heat generating source, means for taking out joul heat to the outside by sliding with said heat generating source, and heat conducting compound intervenient between said heat taking out means and heat generating source; and the heat conducting compound used for the appliance.
