The composition, which is normally clear and is essentially free of any amides of diethanolamine, comprises a cloud point depressing agent comprising ammonium chloride. Also disclosed is a method of reducing the cloud point temperature in a normally clear aqueous personal cleansing composition which is essentially free of amides of diethanolamine.
