Abstract: The Downspout Extension Ground Support supports a downspout extension at grade level. In instances where downspouts need to be extended from a structure, the Downspout Extension Ground Support provides support and stability to maintain the correct pitch for drainage to flow through the downspout extension as designed. Without support under the downspout extension it will tend to sag, disrupting the pitch which in turn impedes proper drainage flow; and in some cases causes backflow.

Abstract: A circular concrete cap foundation poured in-situ within a perimeter forming corrugated metal pipe set atop or within an excavated pit and enclosing a series of circumferentially spaced pile anchors. The circular concrete cap foundation supports sets of inner and outer circumferentially spaced tower anchor bolts having their lower ends anchored to an embedded anchor ring and their upper ends projecting vertically and upwardly out the top of the circular foundation to engage the base flange of a supported tower. The pile anchors are formed with perimeter corrugated metal pipes set deep in subsurface soils with cementitious material surrounding and partially bonding to a centralized steel bolt or tendon which extends through the cap foundation. The tower anchor bolts and the pile anchor bolts are both partially encased in a PVC sleeve so that the bolts can be post-tensioned. The pile anchors are in tension only and serve to pull the cap foundation down to compress the underlying ground soils.

Abstract: A grass protection mat, used for protecting grass on golf courses, grass playing fields, park lawns, etc., or for promoting growth of grass, is provided. The grass protection mat is fixed to a ground surface through a mat anchoring member, and includes a body provided with a grass passage, a projecting column provided at a top of the body, a lug provided at a bottom of the body, and a mat ground anchoring means connected to the body, and configured with a portion to which the mat anchoring member is fixed upon mat installation and disposed at least below the body. The grass protection mat, due to its ground anchoring portions being disposed in closest possible proximity to the ground surface to improve anchoring to the ground when the ground anchoring portions are pressed during on-site installation, can offer superior results including effective prevention of being lifted, deformed, and disconnected.

  • Patent number: 7627994
Abstract: Overall, this particular invention is a universal pole and post anchoring system used to support and stabilize various types of poles and well as posts while buried in the ground. What makes this particular invention very unique is that this anchoring system is simply molded as one piece device. The pole or post would simply slip through this anchoring system with ease then secured with appropriate minimum of hand tools. This invention is made of a one piece Strong and Light Polymer Plastic with various thicknesses or a one piece Metal Alloy material with various thicknesses. This anchoring system, helps prevent any pole or post that is buried in the ground from leaning side to side as well as helping to prevent from accidentally being pulled off the ground or sink into the ground. Depending on the size of the Poles and Posts being used, these anchoring systems do not require any special skills by consumers and require only minimum of hand tools for assembly such as a screw driver, or hammer and nails.

  • Patent number: 7610733
Abstract: A framing assembly system for steel building that substantially reduces assembly time while maintaining excellent strength and mechanical integrity and has vastly improved resistance to uplift forces. Foundation assemblies or anchor structures are first precisely located before concrete is poured to form the foundation, encasing the anchor structures within the foundation. Columns may then be attached to the anchor structures without the need for readjusting the location of the columns. The rest of the building framework is subsequently attached to the columns. The resulting structure is highly resistant to uplift forces and seismic effects while being much faster and simpler to assemble than previous structures. Cracking of the concrete foundation prior to the complete curing of the concrete is also reduced.
