    Abstract: A connector sleeve 22 is disclosed for connecting two beams 2,4 together in the construction industry which is quick and easy to use and which may be moved or removed if required. The sleeve 22 comprises opposing walls 25,26 for receiving the end portions of two beams 2,4 therebetween and clamping means 32 integrally mounted on one of the opposing walls 25,26. The clamping means 32 is configured to releasably engage the beams 2,4 in use so as to fix their location relative to each other. A modular connection assembly for connecting two beams is also disclosed herein.
