Preferably the oxyacid salt is a phosphate, especially a polyphosphate, expressed by MO.sub.m/2.nP.sub.2 O.sub.5, where M is a metal element including Si, m is the valence of the metal M, and n is in the range from 0.1 to 0.7, or an alkali metal salt of such a phosphate. This composition gives moldings that are very high in thermal stability.
