Further, a method for producing an inkjet recording ink includes forming a pigment dispersion by kneading a pigment, an anionic resin and water, mixing the pigment dispersion with a water-soluble nonionic acrylic resin or a prepolymer thereof, triethylene glycol monobutyl ether, diethylene glycol monoethyl ether or diethylene glycol monopropyl ether, and water, and filtering a mixture resulting from the mixing.
