    Abstract: Hydraulic fracturing fluids include an aqueous fluid, an acrylamide-based polymers, and a hyperbranched crosslinker that crosslinks the acrylamide-based polymer to form a crosslinked gel. The hyperbranched crosslinker includes a hyperbranched polyethyleneimine polyoxiranylalkanol having a weight-average molecular weight from 10 kDa to 1500 kDa. The hyperbranched crosslinker may be a product of reacting a hyperbranched polyethyleneimine with an oxiranylalkanol to obtain the hyperbranched polyethyleneimine polyoxiranylalkanol. In examples, the oxiranylalkanol is glycidol. Methods for preparing the hydraulic fracturing fluids and methods for treating subterranean formations with the hydraulic fracturing fluids are disclosed.

    Abstract: An electron-beam cured poly(arylene ether) composition exhibits an excellent balance of flexibility, chemical resistance, and resistivity per unit volume. The chemical resistance of the composition is substantially improved by electron beam curing. The electron-beam cured poly(arylene ether) composition is useful for the fabrication of extruded articles, including insulation for automotive wire and cable.

The elastomeric composite has excellent compatibility between two rubbers of different polarity when properly compounded and processed. The composite formed as an elastic tape has a low modulus of elasticity, good needle tear strength when sewn inside a garment, and it provides a comfortable fit for long use in addition to having reduced oil swell and oil abosorption characteristics. Elastic tapes made from the elastomeric rubber composite are particularly suitable for swimwear, shower caps, head bands, face masks and other garments with direct skin contact.
