From Monomer Containing A >>n-c(=o)-n<< Or >>n-c(-o)-n<< Group E.g., Urea, Isoureau, Etc. Patents (Class 526/302)
  • Patent number: 4426506
Abstract: A liquid, highly reactive alpha-beta ureide having the formula: ##STR1## wherein R is a polymeric backbone having no groups reactive with alpha-beta unsaturated amides, n is from 2 to 4 and R.sub.1 is hydrogen, lower alkyl or halogen, the cured elastomer resulting therefrom, and a method for making same.

  • Patent number: 4374969
Abstract: The reaction product of an ethylenically unsaturated, monofunctional isocyanate, such as isocyanatoethyl methacrylate and a polyamine, is useful as an anaerobic adhesive.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 2, 1982

  • Patent number: 4321349
Abstract: Curable acrylate ester compositions having as an accelerator for the polymerization a hydrazine derivative of the formula R.sup.1 --HN--NH--CO--R.sup.2. Typical of the monomers are the polyalkyleneglycol dimethacrylates and the so-called urethane acrylates. Polymerization is preferably initiated by a peroxy compound such as cumene hydroperoxide, such a composition having anaerobic curing characteristics.

  • Patent number: 4310398
Abstract: Surface-coating binders based on a copolymer which contains tertiary amino groups and blocked isocyanate groups and is water-soluble or water-dispersible as a result of being at least partially salified with an acid. The copolymer contains, as copolymerized units, an olefinically unsaturated compound which possesses a tertiary amino group, an N-(1-alkenyl)-isocyanate which is blocked with a CH-, OH- or NH-acidic blocking agent, and another olefinically unsaturated compound, with or without one or more copolymerizable olefinically unsaturated compounds which possess hydrogen atoms which are reactive toward isocyanate groups, and has a mean molecular weight of from 1,000 to 20,000. The novel surface-coating binders are used for the cathodic electrocoating of metallic articles.
