The binding means comprises a cell and an urging device for urging part of the product or bundle of products into the cell, especially towards a closed side of the cell. The urging device comprises a holding provision for holding an item provided by the supply device, such that when the urging device is operated for urging the product or bundle of products into the cell the item is urged against the product or bundle of products, preferably prior to binding the tape around the product or bundle of products in the cell.

    Abstract: An apparatus for sealing an object, such as a bag, with a one-sided adhesive tape includes a rigid base fixed with a rear plate that has a tape roll spindle rotationally attached thereto. A front plate is fixed with the rear plate with at least one standoff, defining a gap therebetween for holding a sealing mechanism. The front and rear plates each include a sealing pathway traversing a top side of each plate and terminating at an orthogonally-oriented cutting pathway. The sealing mechanism comprises an indexing wheel, a tape brake having a tape engaging surface urged against the indexing wheel, and a tape cutter having a cutting blade fixed with an upper end thereof. An object cutter includes a blade for cutting the object when the object is moved through the cutting pathway.

Therefore, when the user operates the bag neck sealer, the user's fingers can be protected from the fixed blade through the protective piece, preventing the fingers from being hurt so as to enhance the safety of the bag neck sealer.

    Abstract: A method of forming a transportable container of bulk goods begins by placing the distributing end of a hopper over the open top of a bunched bag. Bulk goods are dispensed from the distributing end of the hopper through the open top of the bag to establish a level of bulk goods in the bag. The hopper moves vertically relative to the closed base of the bag during the dispensing of bulk goods from the distributing end of the hopper to maintain vertical spacing between the distributing end of the hopper and the level of bulk goods in the bag. A hopper fill level is maintained in the hopper during the dispensing of bulk goods from the hopper. An outer wrap is spirally wrapped around the bag while filling the bag to form the transportable container. The outer wrap is maintained near the level of bulk goods in the bag.

The compression plate (5) is operated through a hydraulic system (6) made up of telescopic arms (61) propelled by independent hydraulics cylinders (62).

On passage of the bundle between the rollers, cohesive material-coated ends of the band are brought together to adhere said ends together and to tightly band the wrapped articles together in essentially a single operational step.

    Abstract: A transportable container for bulk goods and a method for forming the container are disclosed. The transportable container is formed from a bag having a closed base and an open top. The open top is in a folded over position and a bottom support is located adjacent to the closed base. A particulate material is filled into the bag and an outer wrap is spirally wrapped around the bottom support and the bag such that the outer wrap secures the bag to the bottom support and secures the open top in the folded over position. The method for forming the transportable container includes the steps of securing the open top of the bag in an opened position and supporting a base of the bag. The bag is filled to a predetermined level with a particulate material and while being filled the fill level of the particulate material in the bag is monitored. Simultaneously with filling of the bag, an outer wrap is spirally wrapped around the bag in an upward direction to a predetermined fill level.
