Patent number: 6122897Abstract: A method of creating a package with reclosable resealable flaps. The package is defined by a blank formed by die cutting a continuous web or sheet of material after ink and a release coating have been applied to one side of the web but on different areas. The blank, when folded, provides a structure with a rectangular cross-section having four planar sides, each side with extending flaps. A package is formed by closing and securing the flaps on the bottom end of the structure using a permanent adhesive. The package is then filled with product. One top outer flap can have a release coating applied to an area which will be engaged by the opposite flap when closed. This release coating, in combination with a repositionable adhesive, will cause the opposed flaps to releasably adhere one another to secure and seal the top opening. Repositionable adhesive can also be applied, either to the release coating itself, or to the surface opposite the release coating to the seal.Type: GrantFiled: December 16, 1998Date of Patent: September 26, 2000Inventor: Paul A. Patent number: 6070391Abstract: In a method for producing a predetermined sequence of printed products with varying contents and varying numbers of pages, the pages of a printed product of the sequence are printed onto both sides of a quasi-endless paper web [P] in the form of at least one row of juxtaposed printed pages. The pages of the next printed product in the sequence are then printed in the same manner. The paper web is folded perpendicular to its length in alternating directions between the pages to be printed, or the printed pages, before or after printing. The web is then separated or brought into an easily separable condition along lines perpendicular to its length between groups of printed pages forming successive printed products. A sequence of Leporello-shaped printed products [5] is produced which can be further processed into differently shaped products.Type: GrantFiled: September 11, 1997Date of Patent: June 6, 2000Assignee: Ferag AGInventor: Werner Honegger

The pill dispensers dispense the pills into the first set of output hoppers, from which the pills can be released into a second output hopper under the control of the computer. The computer will release the pills from the second output hopper corresponding to a selected pill dispenser through a snout into a pill vial in response to sensing the presence of a pill vial at the snout. The computer controls a prescription label printer to print prescription labels for the pill vials. The computer also controls indicator lights to indicate which dispensing cell is selected and ready to have pills released from the second output hopper corresponding thereto.Type: GrantFiled: May 31, 1995Date of Patent: February 24, 1998Assignee: Medco Containment Services, Inc.Inventors: Christopher J.
