Abstract: This invention is concerned with new .beta.-[2-(halogenobenzyl)-phenoxy]-ylamine derivatives of the general formula ##STR1## wherein R represents a C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 -alkyl group having a linear or branched hydrocarbon chain,R.sub.1 and R.sub.2, which may identical or different, represent each a C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl-group, andAr represents a polychlorophenyl group of the formula ##STR2## (in which Y.sub.1 is 4-Cl, Y.sub.2 is H or Cl, and Y.sub.3 is H or Cl, at least one of the Y.sub.2 and Y.sub.3 being Cl); and their addition salts.These new compounds are useful as pharmaceuticals.

Pharmaceutical compositions containing them as active ingredient are another aspect of the invention.

Abstract: The invention relates to new aminoethoxybenzylalcohol derivatives of the formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is hydrogen, halogen, trihalomethyl, alkyl having from one to 4 carbon atoms or alkoxy having from one to 4 carbon atoms;R.sub.2 is halogen, trihalomethyl, or alkoxy having from one to 4 carbon atoms;R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 stand for methyl or together with the adjacent nitrogen form an up to 8-membered ring optionally containing oxygen,and acid addition or quaternary ammonium salts thereof.The compounds of formula (I) are pharmacologically active, thus show enzyme-inducing effect. The pharmaceutical compositions containing them as active ingredient are also within the scope of the invention.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to 1-p-aminoalkoxy phenyl-1-p-hydroxyphenyl-2-phenylalk-1-ene derivatives, processes for their manufacture and pharmaceutical compositions containing them. The compounds possess anti-oestrogenic activity and are useful in the treatment of anovulatory infertility and the breast tumors. Representative of the compounds disclosed is 1-(p-.beta.-dimethylaminoethoxyphenyl)-trans-1-p-hydroxyphenyl-2-p-tolylbu t-1-ene.

Abstract: Basic ethers of 4-hydroxy-benzophenones acting as beta-blocking agents, sting from 4-hydroxy-benzophenones and, by reacting them with epichlorohydrin, transforming them into the corresponding 4-O(2', 3'-epoxy-propoxy) derivatives, then reacting with isopropylamine, obtaining the substances according to the invention which can be defined as 4 (gammaisopropylamino-betahydroxypropoxy) benzophenones, wherein the 3 and 4' positions can be represented by: H, Cl and acetyl.

Abstract: Described are compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein R is hydrogen, loweralkyl, aminomethyl or halo, R.sub.1 is hydroxy or NHX where X is H, loweralkyl, phenyl, substituted phenyl, acetyl, benzyl and substituted benzyl, and Y is hydrogen, loweralkyl or halo and may be the same or different, and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof.The compounds are effective as diuretic agents.

Abstract: A curable resin composition comprising an epoxy resin, a hardener and an epoxy compound-dialkylamine adduct as a latent hardener.
