Abstract: N,N-dialkyl-3-oxo-3-alkyl-1,2-difluoropropenylamine expressed by the following general formula: ##STR1## where R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are same or different alkyl groups.
Abstract: Novel fluorinated diamine derivatives are inhibitors of ornithine decarboxylase enzyme and have the following general Formula I: ##STR1## wherein: R.sub.c represents hydrogen or carboxy;R.sub.1 represents hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl;Z represents methylene or oxygen;m and n each represent 0 or 1 but m+n=1; andp represents 1 or 2.
Abstract: Novel substituted 11-aminoundecanols of the formula ##STR1## and a process for their preparation are described; in the formula, R.sub.1 and R.sub.3 independently of one another are hydrogen or alkyl having 1-8 C atoms and R.sub.2 and R.sub.4 independently of one another are alkyl having 1-8 C atoms, or R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 and/or R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 together with the bonding C atom form a cycloaliphatic ring having 4-8 C atoms, and R.sub.5 and R.sub.6 independently of one another are hydrogen or alkyl having 1-4 C atoms. The compounds of the formula I are valuable active compounds for combating plant pests.
Abstract: The invention includes novel alkali metal complex compounds (and processes for their preparation) which are useful, inter alia for the hydrogenation of alkali metals at room temperature or below room temperature to form hydrides or nitrides.
Abstract: Novel compounds which are produced from aminated alkoxylated aliphatic alcohols and alkyl phenols are described. The compounds are formed by reacting the nitrogen atom with certain compounds to form hydroxyl, carboxyl or sulfonate terminated compounds susceptible to salt formation with Group 1a and 2a metals, particularly sodium and potassium, to increase the water solubility of the compound. These compounds, particularly the salts of these compounds, are useful surface active agents and are soluble in polar and non-polar solvents. The are useful as oil and fuel additives, anticorrosive agents, detergents, froth flotation and oil recovery chemicals, and certain metal salts of the compound are useful as isocyanurate catalysts.

Abstract: An .omega.-lactam having 4-12 carbon atoms, an oligomer thereof or a ring-opened polymer or an .omega.-amino carboxylic acid corresponding thereto, is heated in the presence of water and a metallic carbonate compound to obtain a metallic salt of .omega.-amino carboxylic acid. Barium, calcium and lithium are the preferred metals. The resulting metal salt is converted to an amino Schiff base which may be used as a starting material for preparing an .alpha.,.omega.-diamino alkane which may or may not include an amino group as a side chain. This further produces a metallic carbonate compound. The metallic carbonate is returned and used again as a reagent for forming the metal salt of the .omega.-amino carboxylic acid to create a closed system.
