  • Patent number: 11078052
Abstract: Adaptable clevis kits may be used when calibrating crane scales, dynamometers and tension links for force calibration laboratories. An adaptable clevis kit may include one set of devises (one pair) with multiple sets of pins with different diameters. With this kit, the same set of devises may be used for calibrating several models of instruments. For each instrument, the pin may be designed with the same diameter that the manufacturer originally made the equipment and reported on its specification sheets. With this method, the error due to difference in pin sizes is eliminated, and the laboratory may save the cost of purchasing dozens of different devises. The adaptable clevis kits may also be provided with a guiding table that help the user find the right size pin for the instrument being calibrated based on the manufacturer's original design.

Abstract: A connecting lock for tire chains, comprising an elongate receiving opening for receiving two chain links, framed by a first longitudinal crosspiece, an opposed, a second longitudinal crosspiece interrupted by an insertion opening, and two transverse crosspieces. The chain links in the receiving opening are secured from sliding out by means of a closing bolt, which can be inserted via one end into a blind bore in the first longitudinal crosspiece. A threaded bore leads in the first longitudinal crosspiece to the blind bore, starting from a side face. A spring pressure piece is screwed into the threaded bore. A spring-loaded detent part of said spring pressure piece is directed into the blind bore. When the closing bolt is inserted into the blind bore, the spring-loaded detent is latched into a recess in the periphery of said closing bolt.

Abstract: A fashion accessory featuring a plurality of units connected together to form a continuous chain having a first end and a second end. The first end and second end are connected together via a locking means. Each unit is a loop. The units each occupy a folded configuration. In the folded configuration, the unit is folded in half to form a first top arc and a second top arc that are positioned next to each other, and a first bottom hook and a second bottom hook that are positioned across from each other. Adjacent units are fed through both bottom hooks and subsequently moved to occupy the folded configuration.

Abstract: A device for recovery of physical objects includes a chain having two ends and a retriever attached to one of the ends. The retriever is configured to locate the object to be recovered and to grasp and retrieve that object once located. The retriever includes transducers that detect acoustic frequencies propagating in a fluid medium. Independent transponders, which can be deployed from the retriever; are provided for deployment in an area to be searched. Each transponder emits a predetermined acoustic frequency that is detectable by the transducers. The transducers signal movement of the recovery device for retrieval of the object.
