  • Patent number: 11903893
Abstract: A massage device for a person's appendage includes a plurality of enclosures each including an outer surface and a hollow interior space having a control circuit, a power source such as a rechargeable battery, a vibration mechanism, and preferably at least one motor and a gear arrangement. Each enclosure includes at least one roller driven by the gear arrangement and the at least one motor. A plurality of connectors are each fixed between two adjacent enclosures to form a ring with the enclosures and the connectors. The connectors are adapted to contract or expand such that with the person's appendage fitted through the ring, the connectors are retracted until the rollers each contact the person's appendage to move the device along or about the person's appendage while the vibration mechanism massages the person's appendage.

  • Patent number: 11077010
Abstract: The present soft tissue mobilization device has a quick-release bar clamp and various attachments for its jaws that exert pressure on soft tissue to improve mobility. The bar clamp allows for applying sustained and incremental pressure at various angles. The shape of the attachment surfaces that contact the soft tissue are either complementary toward each other, when they are intended to squeeze the targeted soft tissue between them, or to the body structure against which they are intended to press. Combining a more helpful means of generating and exerting pressure with the right surface contours significantly improves the overall effectiveness of the device, diminishes any associated pain and discomfort, and reduces the time necessary to achieve results.

Abstract: A manual scalp massager simulating the effect of two sets of fingers placed at two bipolar transverse positions opposing each other to squeeze the scalp skin together in a “broad-pinching” action. The device comprises two jaw-like members lined at each opposing edge with a row of closely-packed fingertip-like rubber spheres. The embodiment is supported by two pairs of A-shaped frames hinged at each vertex where the pair of jaw members is attached to one pair of distal ends, while handlebars are attached to the other pair of distal ends. Coupled with the highly-tacky fingertip-shaped rubber protrusions to maximize gripping of the tightly drawn scalp skin, this simultaneous downward and lateral pressure applied to the jaw members squeezes the contacting scalp skin without pulling the surrounding hair thereby stimulating the scalp through the “squeezing-out” of its old fatty oils, increases flow of the blood vessels, and helps promote hair growth.
