Abstract: The present invention relates to a multifunction hyperthermo-therapeutical apparatus, and more particularly, to a multifunction hyperthermo-therapeutical apparatus which basically uses the hyperthermo-therapeutical apparatus and, of course, selectively uses one or more specific appliances according to the selection of a user by installing a sleep aid means, foot pressure means and vertebral correction means with additional functions at the one hyperthermo-therapeutical apparatus, thereby maximizing a hyperthermo-therapeutical curative effect and achieving an optimum sleep, blood circulation and vertebral correction.

Abstract: The present invention, which relates to a roller type hyperthermo-radiative apparatus, is designed to minimize friction resistance upon horizontal movement thereof. The roller type hyperthermo-radiative apparatus includes a backing plate with wheels fixedly supported at four corners thereof. A plurality of pairs of supporting mechanisms is mounted on the backing plate. Roller type rotating members are rotatably installed between respective pairs of the supporting mechanism and include cylindrical empty spaces formed therein. Heating members are inserted into the empty spaces of the rotating members from both ends of the spaces. Bearing members fixedly support the heating members to the supporting means and rotatably couple the rotating members thereto. Socket portions are connected to the heating members for supplying external electric power. The roller type hyperthermo-radiative apparatus is preferably mounted on a mat for hot compress and acupressure.

Abstract: The present invention, which relates to a mat for hot compress and acupressure equipped with a roller type hyperthermo-radiative apparatus, is designed to minimize friction resistance upon horizontal movement thereof. The mat includes a mat member foldable at one side thereof and with a longitudinal groove formed in the center thereof. Curved rails are formed at both sides of the central groove on the bottom of the mat member, which has curved portions corresponding to the curvature of the vertebral region of a user. Also, a roller type hyperthermo-radiative apparatus that travels along the curved rails and a conveying mechanism for moving the roller type hyperthermo-radiative apparatus in a horizontal direction are included. Finally, there is a control panel for controlling the conveying mechanism and an operating unit for adjusting a position of the roller type hyperthermo-radiative apparatus.

Abstract: A base for warming massage nodes of a hand-held therapeutic device includes a housing, terminals connectable to a power supply, a seat for seating the massage nodes, and a heating circuit positioned to provide heat proximate to the massage nodes when the massage nodes are seated in the seat. The massage nodes can comprise an outer layer of stainless steel or iron and a core of material other than or in addition to air. The core absorbs or retains heat for a preferably gradual release over time. A method for warming such massage nodes includes selectively disposing the massage nodes in the housing adjacent to a heater, energizing the heater, permitting the heater to warm the massage nodes, and separating the massage nodes from the heater. The massage nodes can be separated from the heater by a magnetic extraction using the hand-held therapeutic device.

Abstract: A hand-held massager includes a housing having a gripping portion and a body-contacting portion, the housing being configured for emitting a massaging liquid and the body-contacting portion being configured for emitting heat to a target surface. The massager also emits a vibration and the amount of vibration is variable, as is the amount of heat and the amount of emitted massaging liquid. A pump is disposed within the housing for dispensing the massaging liquid, and a removable reservoir is in fluid communication with the pump. The reservoir is pivotably mounted to the massager between an operational position in which the reservoir is inclined relative to the body-contacting portion, and a refill position in which the body-contacting portion is placed in a generally vertical position and the reservoir is in a generally parallel position relative to the body-contacting portion.

Abstract: The present invention is a device or apparatus to stretch and massage the back and shoulders in an active way in order to naturally fix the muscles and shoulders of these areas and obtain a correct and natural position of the shoulders, spine and back. It includes a frame/base and a back support anchored to a handle in the obverse of the upper end of the support, so that the support is attached and held in place by means of a steel cable that anchors in turn to a pulley inside the motor-reductor on the base frame. The back support is attached to the base frame in its lower end by means of a pivot axis inserted in a steel countersheet joint. This system is operated through an electrical motor-reductor that gradually pulls the cable and rolls it up to an internal pulley, thus inclining or retracting the support on which the user lies face up and is firmly held against a handle or grip with his/her arms up, allowing the back muscles and shoulders to stretch and the spine to return to its correct position.

Abstract: A care or treatment attachment for a foot care apparatus, comprising at least one movable care or treatment element as well as a coupling piece, with which the attachment can be connected to the movement of a motor-driven driving shaft 8 inside the foot care apparatus 6. The attachment comprises a housing which is secured in position on the housing so that driving movement transmitted from the driving shaft does not move the housing. A coupling piece is movable mounted in housing and is supported movably corresponding to the driving movement transmitted from driving shaft of the foot care apparatus. The coupling piece at the driven side drives a power converter for the conversion of the driving movement into a differing movement which powers the one or more movable care or treatment attachments.

Abstract: A device for providing back massage with simultaneous accupressure stimulation along either side of the spine. The device comprises a frame in which are disposed a plurality of rollers which are freely rotatable and capable of being interchangeably positioned within the frame. One roller is of a larger diameter than the remaining rollers and is provided with a central circumferential groove which is bounded on each side by a surface having a plurality of nubs. In use, the nubs contact the user's body on either side of the spine at the desired location to provide accupressure stimulation. By providing the accupressure stimulation roller in a diameter which is larger than the other rollers, the device also provides intervertebral or intersegmental extension during use.

Abstract: A glove device for employment in the communication of medications, lubricants, or other substances is described, which is particularly useful in communicating such substances to in vivo treatment areas, such as the prostate or rectum. The glove device is preferably embodied in a substantially tactile, smooth and disposable material which contains a substance communication pathway embedded within that permits substance communication from a substance containing reservoir to an in vivo treatment site. The glove device may regulate the substance communication and may transmit greater than one substance simultaneously and in succession without removing the invention from a treatment site.

Abstract: An abdominal exerciser device comprising a resilient rubber ball rollably engaging a plurality of ball bearings mounted inside an almost complete in height semi-spherical cavity upwardly oriented within a self-standing casing and allowing the rubber ball a free-rolling action when applied against a body part such as the abdominal, waist and/or hips effectively pressuring and massaging the muscles of the body part. One or more casings may also be mounted on absorbing materials themselves mounted onto a rigid frame structure adapted to support a user.

Abstract: An electric foot massaging assembly is provided including a slipper mount. A flexible slipper is positioned on the slipper mount with an opening formed in an upper extent thereof for receiving a foot therein. A roller assembly includes a plurality of rollers mounted on the slipper mount for massaging a foot within the slipper. A motor is included for rotating the rollers.

Abstract: An apparatus and a method for applying pressure to the body of a person is disclosed. The apparatus comprises an arcuate shaft, a handle that extends from the arcuate shaft in a plane intersecting the plane of the arcuate shaft, and a pressure applicator movably attached to the arcuate shaft for applying pressure to the body. The apparatus can be used for massaging or for applying acupressure.

Abstract: A rollable massaging device that simultaneously provides both hot and cold therapy is disclosed. The massaging device includes a first cylindrical container defining a first opening and a first longitudinal axis therethrough, and a second cylindrical container defining a second opening and a second longitudinal axis therethrough. The device includes a coupling that releasably and resealably engages said first and second opening. The first container is preferably filled with a hot liquid and the second container is preferably filled with a cold liquid, which are separated by a wall defined by the coupling. The outer surface of each container define any of a number of various surface profiles for massage therapy, such as a plurality of protusions, dimples, ridges, or ribs. In one alternative embodiment, the walls of the first and second containers may be adjustable in length to conform to the size of area to be massaged.

Abstract: A handheld apparatus for simultaneously applying massage, accupressure and biomagnetic therapy to an area of the human body in which an electric motor rotates a carrier that guides several metal balls in a circular motion to produce a kneading effect and magnetic force is applied to the point of contact through the balls. The balls rotate to provide superior physical stimulation with minimal resistance and the magnetic force promotes healing by removing toxins and waste products in the treated area and replenishing the treated area with oxygen-rich blood and nutrients. In addition, vibrational motion can be imparted to the balls.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing a magnetotherapeutic back massager. A roller blank having a central cylindrical core circumscribed by a pair of spaced apart circular projections receives magnets in the circular projections to provide magnetic properties to the resultingly constructed magnetotherapeutic back massager. Preferably, the magnets are arranged so as to alternate polarity and a magnet-supporting strip holds the magnets together prior to and during the association of the magnets with the circular projections. The circular projections may have indentations or grooves to accommodate the magnets. Once the magnets have been associated with the circular projections, the magnets are more permanently attached by applying additional material to the circular projections so as to seal the magnets to the circular projections. The sealing material may be the same as that used to construct the roller blank, preferably latex rubber.

Abstract: A roller therapeutic appliance has a pressure roller of an elastic material rotatably disposed in a center portion of an operational axis having grips at both ends. An annular magnetic field generating source is embedded adjacent an outer periphery of the pressure roller, which contacts with a human body. The pressure roller is applied and rotated with pressure on a diseased part of the patient. A pressing force due to the pressure roller and also a magnetic field due to the magnetic field generating source embedded in the pressure roller act on the diseased part, thereby imparting both a massaging effect and a magnetic therapeutic effect. Moreover, the annular magnetic field generating source can easily be embedded a predetermined depth and at predetermined positions in the pressure roller is not exposed on the surface of the pressure roller.

Abstract: A massage device for the rolling massage of skin areas and reflex zones of the human body includes a shaft mounted on a handle and massage rings or rolling bodies which are freely rotatably mounted on the shaft. The massage rings or rolling bodies have projections which are uniformly distributed in circumferential direction. Preferably, the projections are needle tips. A connection is provided between the shaft supporting the massage rings or rolling bodies and the handle which is elastically yielding or resilient at least to a limited extent.
