Foot Support Having Protuberances Patents (Class 601/28)
  • Patent number: 11524199
Abstract: A hex flex apparatus for improving resistance training is presented. The hex flex apparatus is useful for providing more than the standard two-dimension experience, in that a standard apparatus requires large jumps in band size and resistance to move up to the next level. The hex flex apparatus further adds a third dimension by allowing for smaller, more gradual increments to resistance, which leads to more and steadier strength progress before reaching a plateau or sticking point. A platform with two handles is described as is the band which is used to provide tension for resistance training. Further adjustable rods are shown which can be placed into various holes to control the tension and the rods have a ring magnet which provides for the rods being secured in the holes. The bands are further around the rods to access the value of the rods.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing a massage wear-resistant treadmill deck and a finished product thereof are provided. The method includes step 1: providing a mold, the mold having a plurality of cavities thereon, a wear-resistant material being injected into the cavities of the mold; step 2: placing a deck in the mold so that the wear-resistant material is bonded to a surface of the deck to form a plurality of massage protrusions on the deck; and step 3: demoulding the deck from the mold, the surface of the deck being formed with the massage protrusions to form the massage wear-resistant treadmill deck. A wear-resistant layer having the massage protrusions is first formed in the mold, and then the deck is placed into the mold to bond with the wear-resistant layer to form the massage wear-resistant treadmill deck. The manufacturing cost is reduced and the manufacturing mobility is improved.

Abstract: A foot pain relief device can advantageously provide multiple angles of inclination, directed pressure against the plantar fascia, as well as ease of manufacturing and assembly. A toe strap, which is fastened around the ankle and the toe(s), ensures that the toes are flexed up. This toe flexing tenses the plantar fascia of the foot. A ball strap can be threaded through a hole in a ball and then operatively coupled with the toe strap. When operatively coupled to the toe strap, the ball strap keeps the ball positioned on the bottom of the foot while allowing ball mobility. The mobility of the ball can provide directed pressure on at least one component of the plantar fascia. Notably, the simultaneous combination of tension to the plantar fascia and directed pressure to the component(s) of the plantar fascia can be particularly effective at relieving foot pain.

  • Patent number: 6241695
Abstract: An apparatus and method for alleviating excessive pressure development on a body area are provided. The apparatus is preferably embodied in a cushion, and includes a bottom surface and a top surface which is spaced from the bottom surface and has a plurality of channels formed therethrough. A compressible inner layer is disposed between the top and bottom surfaces, and a plurality of elongate, inflexible members are supported by the inner layer and are disposed at least partially within the channels. The members have first ends that extend at least partially through the channels to project beyond the top surface, where the members are located at a neutral position in the absence of pressure. In operation, pressure applied to the first ends causes the members to be displaced axially along the channels away from the neutral position and toward the bottom surface without deformation.
