The fluid dispenser incorporates a tube made from compliant materials as the key dosing component. A first point and a second point on the tube may be acted upon by folding the tube or by external elements, making the segment between the first point and the second point a squeezing section that houses a dosing chamber. The squeezing section may be pressed by an anvil or other structures, pressurizing the fluid contained in the dosing chamber so that once the tube is released on one point, the fluid in the dosing chamber is discharged. With each dosing process, a single dose of the fluid is discharged. In addition, the fluid dispenser is capable of delivering a series of doses of the fluid by repeating the dosing process.

Abstract: The delivery systems of the present disclosure are configurable to administer either single-dose or multiple-doses of one or more substances to a user, for example to the eye, nose, mouth, ear or rectum of the user. The precise and repeatable dosing features of the presently disclosed delivery systems overcome many of the disadvantages associated with known methods for dispensing substances to, for example, the eye of a user. The delivery systems administer precise doses of a substance to a precise location from unit dosage forms that may be single-dose or multiple-dose unit dosage forms, which may be externally or internally pierced.

Abstract: Precision lid retracting eyedropper device with a hollow, rigid housing having an upper aperture that allows a push button topped piston to enter the housing where the piston can impinge on a resilient tubular member that is part of a pump assembly. The housing also includes a solution storing chamber that feeds solution to the pump assembly. A solution exit tube attached to the outgoing portion of the pump assembly emanates from the bottom part of the housing and can be directed towards the user's eye. Integral downwardly facing resilient legs are placed just above and below the user's orbital ridge so that when the legs are squeezed and released, the user's eye lids are forced open allowing the user to dispense a precise amount of solution into his or her eye. A precision eye drop solution container having the ability to retain and dispense a precise single portion of eye drop solution each time the user depresses an actuator device located on and within the housing of the container.
