Receptacles Receiving Protruding Body Member (e.g., Ears, Genitalia, Breast, Etc.) Patents (Class 604/346)

Patent number: 8869799
Abstract: A male contraceptive device includes a condom-like sheath that is placed over the male genital member and has a flavorful formulated solution disposed inside the distal tip. The distal tip is operable to release, eject, or secrete the formulated solution during male ejaculation. The condom-like sheath is shaped to elastically conform to the elongated shape of a male genital member. The sheath has an open proximal end for receiving the male genital member and a distal end that has a distal tip that is selectively closed. The distal tip defines a reservoir containing an ingestible flavored solution and is operable to permit the release of a composition of the flavored solution and any seminal fluid that has entered the reservoir.

Abstract: A temporary ostomy appliance is disclosed, including a catheter for extending through the abdominal wall into the intestine. The catheter may be a transcecal catheter for extending through the cecal valve into the ileum. A portion of a catheter that extends through the cecal valve is made collapsible when the catheter is empty. The collapsed portion expands to permit passage of effluent. A balloon carried on the catheter is preformed with a shape and size in order to permit inflation without elastic stretching of the balloon wall material. A filament is provided for permitting a portion of the catheter to be fastened to internal body tissue by surgical sutures or staples. In order to release the fastening without further surgery, the filament is withdrawn by pulling on a proximal portion outside the body.

There is an opening in the base which is encircled by the inner wall (24). When the flaps (14) are folded over, areas (44) of the flaps (14) cover the trough leaving a gap (G) between the wall (24) and the area (44). The tubs (16) span across said opening. The teat of the condom lies across the opening.

Abstract: A closed drainage system for irrigating colostomy bags wherein the bag is irrigated and cleaned while in its operable position associated with the person. More specifically, the invention mounts a manifold within the colostomy bag with an access to a water pressure from outside, the manifold providing a spray dispersion of fluid, or water preferably, at the top of the bag and gravity then drips it down through the bag and out the open bottom, preferably with the residue of the bag being washed out by the water and passing into a toilet where the user flushes the bag to completion of cleaning with all residue from the bag passing into the toilet. A water source from the toilet itself, or other suitable water supply, provides the pressured water to the manifold inside the top of the colostomy bag.
