Abstract: According to one embodiment, an animal diaper comprises a main body having an upper end, a lower end, an upper portion positioned towards the upper end, a lower portion positioned towards the lower end, an absorbent portion, a tail opening, and an axis extending between the upper and lower ends. The animal diaper also includes first members extending from the lower portion for coupling to the upper portion and second members extending from the lower portion between the first members and the lower end, distal ends of the second members having cooperating fasteners for coupling together. In addition, a spacing between the first and the second members along a wearing animal's back is less than a width of one of the second members measured in a direction parallel to the axis when the wearing animal is standing, and the spacing increases as the wearing animal moves towards a sitting position.

Abstract: A cloth diaper the size of which is adjustable is mainly made up with a surface layer cloth and a liner layer cloth and is provided with a waistline section. The cloth diaper further includes an adjusting unit provided with two buckling parts, and an adjusting surface opposite to the buckling parts. Thus, to adjust the cloth diaper to a determined size, only each of the buckling parts of the adjusting unit is buckled and fixed onto the adjusting surface to form a cloth diaper the size of which is properly adjustable. Thus, following the child and infant's figure, the cloth diaper may be adjusted randomly.

Abstract: A disposable absorbent article adapted to be worn about a lower torso of a human body and having a chassis, a non-removable absorbent core component disposed in a crotch region of the chassis, and a replaceable absorbent core component disposed in capillary liquid communication with the non-removable absorbent core component. The replaceable absorbent core component may be removed and a like component may be substituted in place of the removed component without the removal of the absorbent article from the wearer. The replaceable absorbent core component may be disposed inside an openable chassis pocket, with access for its removal and replacement provided by an aperture in a backsheet, an openable end of an external pocket, or an openable end of an internal pocket formed at an area of a waist end edge where the backsheet and a topsheet may be separated. Additional replaceable absorbent core components may also be incorporated.

Abstract: Absorbent articles such as diapers, incontinent briefs, training pants, diaper holders and liners, and the like, designed to provide improved fit and comfort for the wearer while adequately containing body exudates. The absorbent article includes an absorbent core designed so as to retain low levels of fluid in the crotch region, relative to the other core regions, even when the core absorbs significant amounts of fluid during use. To achieve this, the absorbent core is designed such that fluid is moved substantially from the crotch region to the front and/or rear ends of the article. The absorbent core has a non-removable absorbent core component in the crotch region and removable absorbent core components in the front or rear regions of the article.

Abstract: According to various aspects, exemplary embodiments are provided of reusable diapers. In an exemplary embodiment, a reusable diaper may generally include a forward portion, a rearward portion, a crotch portion, and first and second waist portions. At least a three-by-three array of snap members may be along the forward portion that allows selective adjustment to a functional rise of the reusable diaper. The array may include at least a first row of at least three spaced-apart snap members vertically spaced from and aligned with corresponding snap members in at least two other rows of the array. The first waist portion may have corner regions releasably attachable to the second waist portion. The corner regions may be resiliently stretchable to permit at least some adjustability to a functional waist size of the reusable diaper as defined by the first and second waist portions when the first waist portion is releasably attached to the second waist portion.

Abstract: A reusable swim diaper, which includes a main torso part having an extent defined by an elastic banded torso receiving aperture at its upper end for receiving a torso, a pair of elastic banded leg receiving apertures at its lower end, and a crotch portion generally between said leg receiving apertures. The main torso part includes a bodyside inner layer of breathable wick away fabric having an extent corresponding to the extent of the main torso part, an absorbent terry cloth intermediate layer, and a waterproof outer layer having an extent corresponding to the extent of said main torso part. The layers are made of materials which are capable of withstanding laundering and are restored to substantially their original conditions by laundering.

Abstract: A reusable sanitary garment is provided, having a three-part construction, incorporating an outer garment portion, a sling portion, and at least one pad, supported within the sling, which, in turn, is affixed to, and supported within, the outer garment. Both the outer garment portion and the sling portion are preferably fabricated, in an ecologically sustainable manner, from recycled plastics materials. The at least one pad may be fabricated as a reusable, washable article, or may be fabricated as a disposable article, preferably from recycled, and easily recyclable or biodegradable materials. The diaper comprises an inner absorbent layer(s) between said hydrophilic and wicking fabric layers. A preferred continuously-adjustable fastening system may be used to adapt the diaper to fit a wide range of sizes of infants and toddlers, for example, from birth up to four years old. The fastening system allows a large amount of the front side of the diaper to be folded inside the diaper, significantly changing the overall size of the diaper to accommodate small infants. Even with the large folded-in flap, soft, wicking fabric is maintained against the child's skin, and the fastener system portion that is also folded inward does not interfere with absorbency.

The diaper comprises an all fabric stretchable shell which in the preferred embodiment is secured to the wearer by an encased elastic waistband with hook and loop VELCRO tabs. The legholes on the shell are encased elastic designed to fit many different leg sizes. Within the shell is disposed a soft breathable liquid impervious layer encasing multiple layers of a absorbent material. The sides of the absorbent material are permanently affixed to the shell and finished with elastic edges forming a body gusset of sorts. Several embodiments of the diaper are disclosed to fit special needs.
