  • Patent number: 11913707
Abstract: A cooler has a body and a lid that co-operate. The lid is movable between closed and open positions. The lid is a freezable reservoir. A filler port is located inside the lid. The entrance of the filler port into the lid is located at a height part way between the inside and outside walls of the lid. The lid has a downwardly extending hollow peripheral formation. The filler port is spanwise inset from the peripheral formation. The lid has spanwise extending internal formations that stiffen the lid and divide the internal chamber into sub-volumes connected by necks through which liquid can flow. The inside and outside walls of the lid may be connected. The lid is provided with a “fill to” line visible from the filling port to discourage over-filling. The lid may have an insulated cap, and the cooler may have an insulated jacket.

  • Patent number: 11810711
Abstract: A cryostat assembly comprises an outer container that houses a coil tank with a superconducting magnet coil system and a first cryogenic fluid, and a storage tank with a second cryogenic fluid. The coil tank is secured to the outer container by a first suspension element and the storage tank is secured to the outer container by a second suspension element. The storage tank is thermally connected to a cover element having a mechanical and thermally-conductive connection to a tube element and to the first suspension element. The cover element connects to the storage tank via a resilient, heat-conducting connection that is in thermal contact with the cover element and the storage tank. This allows thermal coupling between the storage tank and cover element, and independent relative movements between the storage tank and cover element, while suppressing relative movements between the tube element and the superconducting magnet coil system.

  • Patent number: 6109052
Abstract: A cargo container is manufactured using mash seam welding or CO.sub.2 laser welding technology. Automatic welding replaces the multiple sheets of corrugated steel used for the side and roof panels with continuous coils of steel, resulting in lower material costs and reduced material handling. A single horizontal mash-weld or CO.sub.2 laser weld seam is needed to produce each panel, which are produced by joining two side-by-side sheets at their inner edges. Press and die assembly forms reinforcing ribs. Each panel has four straight welding edges, which enable automated welding. The cargo container includes a frame assembly made of tubular beams.

  • Patent number: 6082127
Abstract: An evaporator module for an air conditioner includes a substantially rectangular structural evaporator housing having a rear wall and a substantially open front. An air directing scroll is mounted within the housing adjacent the rear wall. Scroll aligning structures, provided on the rear wall of the housing, cooperate with structure on the scroll to support the scroll in its operative position. An evaporator fan and motor subassembly are mounted directly to a support extending from the rear wall. The rear wall of the housing and the scroll are provided with axially aligned openings which receive at least a portion of the evaporator fan motor therein. An evaporator coil and evaporator coil support subassembly is positioned in substantially confronting relationship with the evaporator fan and the scroll to thereby support the scroll and to further define the air inlet path across the evaporator and into the evaporator fan.
