An insulating member is mounted to the door duct and has a plurality of first discharging holes in order to allow the cool air to be discharged into the interior of the refrigeration compartment passing through the door duct. Thus, a wide temperature difference between the interior of the refrigeration compartment and the door duct is reduced by the insulating member.

A fluid conduit (30) has an inlet and outlet in fluid communication with the chamber and a heat exchanger coil (36) disposed within the insulation space. A control valve (38) allows the cryogenic liquid to flow through the fluid conduit so that the cryogenic liquid is in heat exchange relationship with the thermal control gas as the liquid passes through the coil (i.e., the cryogenic liquid cools and condenses the thermal control gas to reduce the control gas pressure).

Also the panels are to be spaced from the corners of the cabinet to permit the foam to flow into the corners. The panels can be applied directly to the cabinet or they can be spaced between the cabinet and liner, held by spacers.     Abstract: A method and apparatus for loading a refrigerator box which has a door along one side and insulation in all of the surfaces of the box including the bottom. The invention specifically relates to devices for loading the box using a pallet loaded with prepackaged material such as ice. The insulation in the bottom of the box is divided into three parts; the insulation along one side, the insulation along the opposite side and then the center insulation portion.The method is accomplished by removing the center insulated portion and rolling a pallet loaded with prepackaged material into the refrigerated box using an ordinary transportation vehicle such as a lift cart. Once the vehicle has moved the pallet of prepackaged material into the refrigerated ice box or container, the transportation device is then lowered so that the pallet will settle onto the pieces of insulation on each side of the box. The transportation device is then removed and a piece of insulation is inserted under the pallet.

    Abstract: An energy-saving cover for evaporative coolers. An oversized top portion provides a sufficient overhang about all four sides of the cooler for shading purposes. An insulative side panel is associated with each of the sides of the cooler and the panels are positioned a predetermined distance away to allow sufficient air flow to improve the cooling efficiency of the cooler during the cooling season. During the heating season the side panels may be repositioned onto close flush against the sides of the cooler so as to seal the vent portions thereof and prevent the escape of warm air from the dwelling through the duct system. Additionally an interior duct cover can be used to seal the cooling vent to prevent the escape of warm air from the room having the cooling vent thereby saving energy and increasing heating efficiency in the heating season.

A protective covering is set down over the insulative board and affixed mechanically to the casing to prevent the cover from being inadvertently dislodged. The invention is especially adapted to be retrofit to existing evaporative cooler installations.
