Abstract: A cleaning apparatus includes (1) a pressure tank with at least one cleaning tank arranged therein; (2) means for supplying the cleaning apparatus with a cleaning fluid; and (3) means inside the pressure tank for setting the at least one cleaning tank in motion, wherein by these means the at least one cleaning tank is movably arranged relative to the pressure tank in terms of at least one of rotational or translational movement.

Abstract: A washing machine includes therein supports fixing the laundry therein, for example, hanger-like supports, clamping and/or tensioning configurations, or steaming dummies. Once washing has been completed, the laundry is subjected to steam pressure from the inside through the support. The laundry is, thus, pressed and/or ironed.

Abstract: A trench apparatus and process for liquid treatment of fabric uses a longitudinal trench for holding a treatment liquid. A pull rope, chain, or cable having shackle rings or shackles attached thereto for securing one or more bags to the rope, chain, or cable is positioned for pulling one or more bags containing dyed fabric in a longitudinal direction down the length of the trench. The trench has a liquid treatment zone with a surface level, and the trench includes one or more raised platforms dividing the trench into a plurality of separated treatment vats, the raised platforms having a height extending above said surface level. A conduit communicates from at least one vat to at least one other vat at a level below said surface level for movement of liquid therebetween. A conduit and a pump permits the countercurrent recirculation of treatment liquor within each longitudinal treatment vat.

Abstract: A fabric tension control device includes two holder plates fixedly mounted inside a dyeing machine at two opposite lateral sides, and an elongated fabric guide connected between the holder plate and adapted to guide pieces of fabric in the dyeing machine, the holder plates each having a receiving portion adapted to hold the elongated fabric guide in one of a series of angular positions, the elongated fabric guide having a plurality of rod members and a plurality of rectangular open frames alternatively connected in series and adapted to guide a respective piece of fabric in the dyeing machine, pairs of revolving cylinders respectively disposed at two opposite long sides of each rectangular open frame and adapted to guide movement of pieces of fabrics in the dyeing machine, and two polygonal end blocks disposed at two distal ends of the series of rod members and rectangular frames and respectively coupled to the receiving portions of the holder plates in one of a series of angular positions.

Abstract: A method for cleaning garments. The garments are spread out in the interior of a cylinder (1) of a cleaning machine, attached there with bands (7) and hangers (10) and cleaned in this manner. By the method shrinkage and wrinkles will be avoided. Spin drying following cleaning and rinsing can be carried out at high speed, because the centrifugal forces act on garments which are spread out and lying flat and hence the forces do not create unwanted creases and wrinkles. The cleaning and spin drying will be followed by drying the spread out and attached garments by supply of heat. An ironing effect is improved by an intermediate spin speed. This method is suitable especially for cleaning in aqueous solutions. The garments are attached to the interior of the cylinder (1) by bands (7) with loops (8) connected to hooks (5). The solvents used for cleaning enter through the aqueous duct (11) and the hot air for drying enters through air duct (12).

Abstract: Apparatus in accordance with the invention is of the type in which textile fabric samples are dyed in a generally cylindrical vessel containing a liquid dyeing bath while being moved in a cyclical fashion by a sample holder having a generally vertical rod connected to an overhead stirrer. The improved apparatus includes means connected to the generally vertical rod for holding the textile fabric sample in a generally cylindrical configuration, a pump for pumping a concentrated chemical solution at a controlled rate, and means for supplying the concentrated chemical solution from the pump under the surface of the dyeing bath in at least two vertically spaced-apart locations.

Abstract: A dyeing apparatus is disclosed for dyeing different forms of textile material with different colors, the apparatus comprising a non-perforated cylindrical beam having a plurality of partitions defining therebetween dye chambers each containing a different color dye liquor and a plurality of winding frames extending between the partitions axially of the beam and connected rotatably with a rotary shaft driven by a motor. Adjacent chambers are isolated from one another and each hermetically sealed except at an upper portion to which a gate member is pivotally connected. The beam is held stationary while the winding frames are in rotation with the rotary shaft.
