Abstract: Systems and methods for providing continuous safe-driver training safely are provided. A safe-driving challenge may be presented to an operator of a vehicle. Data captured by sensors associated with the vehicle may be analyzed to determine whether the operator of the vehicle has completed the safe-driving challenge. Based on a determination that the operator of the vehicle has completed the safe-driving challenge, a notification may be provided to the operator (e.g., indicating to the operator that he or she has successfully completed the challenge). A processor may randomly select whether a reward is to be provided to the operator of the vehicle based on the determination that the operator of the vehicle has completed the safe-driving challenge. Moreover, if a reward is to be provided to the operator of the vehicle, a processor may randomly select a type of reward to be provided to the operator of the vehicle.

Abstract: A memory stores a log that includes first, second, and third datasets each containing server information collected at different times. The processor forms vectors from the datasets, calculates distance vectors between them and uses the distance vectors and pairwise angles between distance vectors to predict a dataset for a first future time. When the first future time arrives, the processor collects the server information, stores it in a fourth dataset, and calculates a variance between that dataset and the predicted dataset. Using the variance, distance vectors, and angles, the processor determines a second predicted dataset corresponding to a second future time, from which it determines a server usage prediction. If the server usage prediction is below a decommission threshold, the processor decommissions the server. If the server usage prediction is above a capacity threshold, the processor generates a report advising an administrator to upgrade or remove projects from the server.

  • Patent number: 10769524
Abstract: Various embodiments utilize a machine learning-based approach to filter items, such as apparel items, based on non-binary gender styles. For example, an electronic catalog of apparel items can be assigned gender scores on a gender scale by a neural network trained to determine a gender score of an apparel item based on an image representation of the apparel item. The neural network may be trained on training data that includes images of various apparel items with gender designations. The apparel items in the electronic catalog are assigned a gender score attribute that reflects how masculine or feminine the apparel item may be. As such, the apparel items can be organized (e.g., sorted, filtered, ranked) based on a non-binary gender score in addition to other attributes, such as item type, size, color, brand, etc. Thus, a user can include non-binary gender style as a search or filtering criteria.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for conversion timing inference. A conversion timing model is model is configured to predict a likelihood of conversion based on an entity's elapsed time since a qualified entry event. The conversion timing model is constructed based on a distribution of the conversion timespans of converters. Each conversion timespan describes a length of time between a qualified entry event and a conversion event for a converted entity. A notification of an opportunity to expose a candidate entity to networked content is received and the likelihood of conversion for the candidate entity is determined by: determining an elapsed time since a qualified entry event for the candidate entity and applying the conversion timing model to the elapsed time. A response to the notification based on the likelihood of conversion for the candidate entity is prepared. Timely responses may include the selection of customized content, customized advertising content or bid values.
