Abstract: Systems and methods for automated profile to promotion matching are provided. A plurality of segment variable value pairs that define a plurality of possible segments for a population of consumers are first identified, as are a plurality of promotion variable value pairs of a promotional design space. The variable value pairs are assembled into a plurality of test promotions by different permutations. The test promotions are administered, and results are collected. Trends between specific segment variable value pairs and promotion variable value pairs that result in statistically relevant shifts in the obtained responses are identified and used to define segments. The defined segments are then matched to promotion types (collected from a promotion repository) based upon likelihood of a positive result. The matches are then classified by a behavioral economic classification, which then may be outputted to a marketer to provide insights into consumer motivations.

  • Patent number: 10755291
Abstract: A method and system receive consumer media consumption data and dynamically prioritize the allocation of marketing resources amongst a variety of media intellectual property (IP) assets and for a variety of media IP asset managers and owners to run automated targeted marketing campaigns. The system identifies patterns in consumer media consumption using a statistical model which detects media IP assets demonstrating a high likelihood of realizing an efficient marketing opportunity. The efficiency of a marketing opportunity is evaluated using a statistical model based on the identification of customers who are most likely to increase the frequency with which they stream the assets after being exposed to them via a marketing action in addition to the projected costs of reaching this audience. The system automatically constructs a marketing campaign. The campaign is presented to the asset manager/owner in a graphical user interface (GUI) which enables the option to purchase and execute the marketing actions.

  • Patent number: 10691831
Abstract: Methods and apparatus to assign demographic information to panelists are disclosed. An example disclosed method includes generating decoy database proprietor identifiers to protect privacies of members of panelist households corresponding to panelist database proprietor identifiers, the decoy database proprietor identifiers to be determined based on a probability density function so that a quantity of the decoy database proprietor identifiers is less than would be used if the decoy database proprietor identifiers were selected by a random selection process. The example method also includes querying a server at a database proprietor using the panelist database proprietor identifiers and the decoy database proprietor identifiers, to obtain demographic information and assigning, by executing an instruction with a processor, the panelist database proprietor identifiers to panelists in the panelist households based on the demographic information obtained from the server at the database proprietor.

  • Patent number: 10664854
Abstract: A system including a processor may filter a population to identify a group having members, and deliver, over an electronic network, a survey to members of the group to determine value preferences and value gaps. The survey may be made according to a set of paired comparisons or other related techniques. The system may generate vectors according to the determined value preferences and value gaps for members of the group, which may have lengths equal to numbers of determined values for the members. The system may cluster members of the group into segments by calculating patterns of differences between generated vectors. Results of this process enable the creation of a predictive model to estimate segment membership, which can be used in the generation of a promotion for display corresponding to a clustered segment, and deliver the promotion to a client device associated for display.

  • Patent number: 10607726
Abstract: A patient anonymizing system includes a plurality of hashing appliances and data sources. Each appliance receives medical records containing at least confidential protected health information (PHI). A salt value is appended to each confidential PHI, and a hash is generated, which replaces the confidential PHI to generate an anonymized record. A master patient index server aggregates the anonymized records. A vector and cluster matching engine determines if the anonymized record matches a unique patient identifier corresponding to a second anonymized record. A comparison vector is generated by comparing hash values of the confidential PHI with hash values in the second anonymized record, and is crossed with a confidence vector having weights based on match conditions. This produces a match confidence level, which is compared to a threshold. If the threshold is met, the anonymized record is mapped to the unique patient identifier associated with the second record.
