The resource scheduling method further includes comparing the target virtual machine label with a current virtual machine label of each host computer in a cluster to determine a target host computer, wherein the target host computer includes no virtual machine label matching the target virtual machine label, enabling the target host computer to create a first virtual machine, and setting a label of the first virtual machine as the target virtual machine label.

A computer-implemented method includes generating a search for content matching at least one content search rule, receiving a list of matched documents, wherein each document in the list of matched documents is associated with at least a source repository identifier and a unique document identifier, calculating a target repository identifier and at least one metadata change instruction for each unique document identifier using at least one migration rule, and modifying metadata for the document associated with each unique document identifier using the calculated at least one metadata change instruction.

A first threshold is defined that allows the value-add application to determine when to offload XML content services to a dedicated XML processing server. A second threshold is defined that allows the core CMS to determine when to offload XML content services to a dedicated XML processing server. Callback services are included that allow each tier of XML content services to send or receive additional information to complete the XML processing. The result is a content management system that is very powerful and flexible.

Abstract: An address matching system that maintains a central database of valid addresses has been designed. According to the invention, address matching requests are received by the system from a plurality of remote users located at respective machines (“clients”). Those requests are processed at the central system, and the results are returned to the client that made the request. In addition, novel techniques are implemented for improving the likelihood of obtaining one or more matches from a request.

The game program and the game data are read from an optical disk into a main memory of the game apparatus. During execution of the game processing, a single-search hitting count obtained in a case that a predetermined database is searched by a word selected by the player is read from the game data, or an AND search hitting count obtained in a case that the database is searched by a word selected by the player and a word set in advance is read from the game data. The game apparatus progresses the game processing on the basis of the read single-search hitting count and AND search hitting count.

Abstract: A software system automatically and dynamically generates a fully functional user interface (UI) based upon, and connected directly to, an underlying data model (as instantiated within a relational database management system (RDBMS)). The UI derives from an automated interrogation of the RDBMS, and comprises all mode displays (e.g., browse, search, edit, add) for all tables, and a full complement of mechanisms—integrated directly into the mode displays—for representing, navigating, and managing relationships across tables, regardless of the complexity of the underlying RDBMS schema. It utilizes a hierarchical “context stack” for suspending the working state of a particular table while “drilling down” to work with related-table information and return relevant changes to the base table.

The tasks have an associated revision number of 0 to indicate that the tasks were added, but not yet scheduled. The tasks are displayed in the member schedule editor and in Web page schedules. The tasks may then be displayed in the member schedule editor and in Web page schedules in a manner that allows a user to readily determine that the tasks are “to-do list” tasks.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for creating and using imbedded Shortcodes. An imbedded Shortcode (ISC) and Shortcode may be uniquely associated with a full name that identifies an item of interest. The Shortcode may be visually identified when the full name is displayed by the ISC, which is select characters of the full name that are visually distinguished from the other characters of the full name. Thus, subsequent reference to the associated full name and its item of interest may be identified simply by using the Shortcode instead of the full name. For example, a user of an electronic device may observe the full name with the ISC in a visual display, and sequentially enter the characters of the Shortcode from the ISC into the electronic device to obtain additional information regarding the item of interest.

Abstract: The present invention provides a general solution to presenting media interface and navigation tools for content provided from a plurality of sources. The invention maintains a user at a single site regardless of the source of the media content. This permits a consistent interface to be presented to the user. Because the user remains at the same site, differences in tiered membership may be tracked so that the user is only presented with content that the user is permitted to view. The invention uses a metadata language to characterize content so that viewer type, membership level, and other information can be maintained and used for an enjoyable viewing experience.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for creating, publishing, sharing, and delivering mobile software applications called “mobile widgets” onto mobile devices. A system may include functionality to render a declaratory component of a widget, such as HTML, and also functionality to execute an imperative component of a widget, which may or may not be compiled and/or in a scripting or functional language. Mechanisms for providing common access to disparate device capabilities APIs are also provided, as are mechanisms for installing widgets onto mobile devices and managing those widgets.

Abstract: Systems, methods and computer readable media for media for continuous content sharing between systems through intelligent resolution of federated hierarchical graphs are described. A Multi-Topology Middleman (MTM) is used between the source and target systems to handle the content sharing. The MTM builds on traditional import/export infrastructure; it tracks the import/export of individual objects between systems. When a conflict is found between systems, the MTM learns the conflict resolution and stores the conflict resolution as a rule for the conflicting object, and applies the rule for subsequent import/export process on that object. The MTM also tracks the mapping of objects between the source and target systems and updates the target object in accordance with a change in the source object. The MTM is also capable of undoing the import process.

Multiple electronic forms are accessible to the customer at a single access point, such as a web site. At the web site, the customer selects a form for filing with any of a plurality of government agencies. When presented to the customer, the selected form is presented with some of its data fields being pre-populated according to information retrieved from a database and specific to that customer. The customer completes the form, and a back-end system integrated with the web site handles the completed form, determines the appropriate government agency for filing the form, and transmits it as a transaction to the determined government agency.

The gateway can enable non IMS mobile nodes to obtain IMS location based services or incompatible mobile nodes to obtain location based services.

Abstract: In order to be able to handle very large numbers of tracks in a similarity determination in order to identify tracks similar to a predetermined track, a filtering method is used in order to identify a number of closest neighbor candidates between which the correct nearest neighbors are determined. Thus, the computationally heavy similarity determination is performed only on a subset of the tracks. This filtering step may be a fastmap determination of the tracks where the pivot points are determined not as the extreme points along the to individual dimension but at the median thereof in order to avoid extremely high divergence values. This helps preserving the neighborhoods. Also, the mapping is performed on the basis of a square-rooted Symmetric Kullback-Leibler (SKL) divergence which is more metric than the SKL and thus provides a better mapping.
