  • Patent number: 11836148
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for implementing a data stream correlation user interface. The data stream correlation user interface enables users to view information from two sets of records, and identify fields in the two sets of records that can be matched together to “glue” together multiple records. For example, a user may specify that values in an “AcctID” field in one set of records can be matched to values in an “Account_ID” field of a second set of records. Additional identifying fields may be selected, such that multiple values can be chained together. The system can match the records of multiple sets together using designated fields, enabling users to view how many records from one set have a corresponding record in another set.

  • Patent number: 8600113
Abstract: A method for fingerprinting a video involving identifying motion within the video and using a measure of the identified motion as a fingerprint. Once videos are fingerprinted, these fingerprints can be used in a method for identifying video. This involves creating a motion fingerprint for unidentified videos; comparing the fingerprints of the known and unknown videos, and identifying whether the unknown video is a copy of the known video based on the step of comparing.

  • Patent number: 8549441
Abstract: Technologies are described herein for presenting and navigating content having varying properties. One or more local or networked providers are searched for content objects. Content objects include associated metadata and may be stored within a content container. Each content object is displayed separately from its associated content container. Displayed content objects may be grouped and filtered based upon the associated metadata. Displayed content objects may also be grouped and filtered based upon the provider from which they were retrieved. Selection of a content object causes the content container associated with the selected content object to be displayed. Alternately, selection of a content object may cause a preview of the selected content object and the metadata associated with the selected content object to be displayed.

  • Patent number: 8515212
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer program products, for identifying images relevant to a query are disclosed. An image search subsystem selects images to reference in image search results that are responsive to a query based on an image relevance model that is trained for the query. An independent image relevance model is trained for each unique query that is identified by the image search subsystem. The image relevance models can be applied to images to order image search results obtained for the query. Each relevance model is trained based on content feature values of images that are identified as being relevant to the query (e.g., frequently selected from the image search results) and images that are identified as being relevant to another unique query. The trained model is applied to the content feature values of all known images to generate an image relevance score that can be used to order search results for the query.

  • Patent number: 8478052
Abstract: An image classification system trains an image classification model to classify images relative to text appearing with the images. Training images are iteratively selected and classified by the image classification model according to feature vectors of the training images. An independent model is trained for unique n-grams of text. The image classification system obtains text appearing with an image and parses the text into candidate labels for the image. The image classification system determines whether an image classification model has been trained for the candidate labels. When an image classification model corresponding to a candidate label has been trained, the image classification subsystem classifies the image relative to the candidate label. The image is labeled based on candidate labels for which the image is classified as a positive image.

Abstract: Systems and methods for presenting and/or browsing images on a digital content platform. In one embodiment, for example, there is provided an image-browsing system, including: (1) a database having a plurality of images; (2) an image frame provided on the digital content platform, wherein the image frame displays a first image from the database; and (3) a user-actionable interface, wherein activation of the interface replaces the first image within the frame with a second image. Various alternative aspects and embodiments are further described herein. For example, in certain instances, such systems and methods may be used to browse images on a digital content platform (e.g., a web page), conduct image searches directly from an image frame within a digital content platform, and/or provide contextually relevant advertising on the digital content platform.

Abstract: Search queries for images are received from users. An original order of responsive images to the query is determined. Duplicate images and words associated with the duplicate images are identified for each of the responsive images. Common words associated with the duplicate images are identified. The responsive images are annotated with the common words and an annotated order is determined. A re-ranked order is determined based on the original order and the annotated order. Responsive images are presented to the user in the re-ranked order.

  • Patent number: 8346800
Abstract: Content-based information retrieval is described. In an example, a query item such as an image, document, email or other item is presented and items with similar content are retrieved from a database of items. In an example, each time a query is presented, a classifier is formed based on that query and using a training set of items. For example, the classifier is formed in real-time and is formed in such a way that a limit on the proportion of the items in the database that will be retrieved is set. In an embodiment, the query item is analyzed to identify tokens in that item and subsets of those tokens are selected to form the classifier. For example, the subsets of tokens are combined using Boolean operators in a manner which is efficient for searching on particular types of database.

A database of known pharmaceuticals is provided with links to virtual 3D models of each pharmaceutical. When a pill needs to be identified, an image of the pill is transmitted to the database CPU. The CPU screens out non-matching records and obtains perspective data. based on the orientation of the pill. The CPU manipulates a 3D model into the same perspective as the pill to facilitate identification.
